This is always worth a watch Superb watch.Earlier today i got into a debate on who was the best manager,Paisley or Fergie. It should have been Paisley of Clough.....Fergie has nothing on either of them.Loved Cloughie,he was brillant for the game.Think Mourinho is a Clough wannabe.

There is something brilliant about this! Nogger arguments! Thanks, enjoyed that, not seen it before Ace innit! Love how Mullery just puts it to him he's biased in favour of Man City! I seem to remember reading Mullery won an award in that World Cup for being Englands best player. Allison just liked to be a bit contrary.

Cloughie on his Leeds sacking... Clough: "don't want to be blasé about it, but I thought I was the best man for the job and so did the Leeds board!!!" Interviewer: "well in your opinion, what was the main most single thing that went wrong???" Clough: "results!!!" Brilliant

Allison was a loathsome figure. When he'd been sacked at Man City he went back to Maine Road a few months later as manager of Crystal. He got a huge wave of applause for what he'd done with Joe Mercer in the 60s. He was a strange man. Larger than life but not that much to back it up football wise.
