Unless 10 man Norwich stage an unlikely comeback at Southampton. We'll likely stay there for a bit with no game for 2 weeks and Arsenal away up next. I just hope the usual suspects on here like me don't panic over the next few weeks, calm heads needed all round. The last minute signing of a commanding leader at the back would help to sooth a few frayed nerves (mine in particular) I've no doubt

Well I do panic a bit to be honest
For me this season is going to be a very tough one and we'll do well just to stay up
Those who were vying for a top 6 finish need to have their head checked asap
The sooner we approach 40 points the calmer I will get

With the huge prem money kicking in from next year, as per the above poster, just staying up for me will be a good season.

And we've only had four games of the season for the love of God. One we had any chance of winning taken away by two sendings off, one we held on for a draw at a place where many teams might come unstuck, we staged a rousing comeback at the other tough away game and in the other home game we were suckered by a moment of class. Let's see what the picture is like after ten games at least. Please every one calm down

I don't take any notice of the tables until at least 10 games have gone.

This Norwich side look shit, but they took us apart for 70 mins last week. We've lost at home without scoring, to one bang average side and one shit one.

Net £5m and talk of next level bottom three Mr Scholes and no surprise We have 48 hours to rescue a season and the huge money pay day .
It's so typical stoke City to blow the big chance and so without need . What price Nzoznzi now . The penny pinching of the past three years just came back to say you can't defy gravity today's League position is a huge wake up call if we don't heed it ove the next 48 hours we deserve what's coming .
Said in July top 17 with this squad as it stands would be an achievement and right now it very much would .

Not ideal but if we had won yesterday we would be regarding it as a decent start

Aren't we always slow starters under Hughes? Didn't we lose the first two home games we had last year? Haven't we faced two sides who play in Europe ? Hmmmmmm... Some people better stay away from the kitchen and stay away from any knives or sharp objects.... For the sake of their wrists.

Lose to Arsenal. Win two home games against Leicester and Bournemouth and we are top 10.
Calm down.

I remember back 2 seasons ago around Christmas when we played man utd... Either on a Sunday or as a late kick off on Saturday... But we were in the bottom 3 before kick off and it looked as if we were in trouble, but we got a win there and then never looked back... We obviously got 9th but looking back even then we were putting ourselves as relegation candidates... Now I just can't see it and maybe like then and last year vs man City a bad start could motivate us to get a win there! 14/1 are very good odds and I think this could be the game that finally ends our dreadful form and run at the Emirates...

What's with all this lose to arsenal....if west ham can go their and do it we are capable of getting something...relace the two that got sent off with bojan and Arnie and away we go ...ideal game for bojan ss Arsenal dont tend to challenge hard (most of tine )

This could be a good idea. Have all results publicly undisclosed until end of November, then publish all results to date and table. This would cure 98% of case of premature bellyaching, pantywetting and cuntishness.

Of course I forget Even though we are in the bottom three we aren't a bottom three team the arrogance and delusion is stunning on here .
We are a bottom three team and need surgery face it or live in the deluded world of next level costs £5m and we are on our way there .
