Geoff was fantastic today. Mom for me. Real battling performance. Close call between him and Whelan for me. Honourable mentions to the rest of the back four and Arnie once he came on also. We'd have murdered them with 10 men let alone 11!?!

Close second for me. Ran his socks off, played up at the death and had a tough Rondon to battle. Glenn was my MOTM by a hair.

Cameron needs to be in midfield, it's obvious. I'd love to see him there. His tackles are timed to perfection, he has vision, has athleticism by the bucket load and likes a good push forward. He has the makings of a box-to-boxer for me. I think the fact he has been covering so admirably at centre half and full back is hindering his chances to play there though. With Ryan back, and him and Whelan anchored in front of the back four, we would be really difficult to break down IMO

His man scored the header. I'd rather see him in the middle replacing VG tbh.

I thought Muni was better.
And until I see the goal again I'm waiting to blame him for that but it looked like he did something that I think is one of his big weaknesses by having no idea what was behind him and then not being in a position to deal with it.

Muniesa gave the ball away seven times today. He was good otherwise but left his passing boots at home.

Yes lets blame one player when we had 9 and they had 11 players yes you could say Geoff lost Rondon but it was shit or bust we were out numbered in the box simple.

Pejic blamed him, if that helps. That'll do for me. He lets people ghost in behind him far too easily and by the time he realises he's not in a position to defend the ball. It's a massive weakness of his.

It's something he does though and has been a weakness of his in his time here. He played well otherwise but it shows the fine lines in Premier League games.

Was better at CB than RB.
A couple of really promising moves that come to mind near the end broke down because of his poor touch. I know we had 9 men, but I suspect he's equally capable of the same mistakes with fresh legs.

Cameron was probably at fault for the WB goal but did OK, particularly when he started pushing up in the second half. But MOM, by a country mile, was Whelan. Mention for Diouf, who worked his socks off.

Cameron needs to be in midfield, it's obvious. We need Wilson to get back to full match fitness first. It is bleeding obvious.

He was superb, when shifted to right back he was literally everywhere trying to grab the game by the scruff of the neck.
And looked absolutely shattered at the end.
True pro, always gives 100%
