My mate recommends the beech hill conservative club, friendly away pub that has parking for £3 and does grub.

I'd be wary of Luton Town as an away fan. Reading up on English hooliganism this lot punches above their weight. Remember that conference playoff a few years ago against York. Some UGLY scenes at full time when they invaded the away end. I'm sure there are a few of their top lads who are up for it against mighty Stoke. I'd be hugging the Old Bill at this match.

I say, I for one will be in attendance old boy. Look we are all adults , no need for violence. I will liaise with a few locals this afternoon and give them a good impression of what a stoke fan is about. Be no need to wory chaps.

In the words of Alan partridge...I'll probably just go straight to the game, have a coffee and go straight home to bed after and just generally keep out of any trouble

Managed to park up right in the town centre (free after 6pm) and get a few beers at the Bricklayers Arms, selection of real ales and continental beers
All seemed to go off very quietly
