Cheers Knowlsey, you are a lucky bloke persuading some Australian to pay you a fortune for a 10 hour a week job which leaves you time to research and write this sort of stuff.

Really enjoyed that, thank you Knowlesy. It is always an interest to see what former players are up to. And great to see that Marvin Robinson is still plying his trade.

I was at the AFC game against Cardiff and they should have won it. Cardiff were dire. Kenwyne had one clear cut chance but shot straight at keeper. Speaking to a few cardiff fans before they game, they didn't want him anywhere near the club never mind the bench. I feel sorry for the lad. Can't even crack the starting XI against a 4th division wimbledon team on a Tuesday night. Fair play he got a nice reception from the fans as he loped on at 68minutes. I was in the away end with some AFC fans, who brought 500 , Cardiff were dreadfully quiet and outsung all evening. I love fan based Phoenix clubs almost as much as I love keeping tabs on former player. Want to go to Hereford next

Having a piece of toast before the working week? On the train already? Or perhaps you're on the bog. Either way, here's how the ex-Stokies got on this weekend.A new element has been added- the race for the Ex-Stokie Golden Boot!

I've had a few minutes to spare in Dubai airport, so updated the article to include Jamie Ness' debut for Scunthorpe last night. Guess what? He got injured!

Hi everyone. The ex-Stokie round-up is back! I was jetting around, erm, England last week so didn't manage to compile the round-up, but a few goals this weekend from our old lads. Kenwyne Jones and Tom Soares leading the race for the golden boot!

Kenwyne is a very solid Championship player. He'll always score goals in that league.
He could have been a very good Premiership striker, but lacked the required dedication and attitude. The ship has sailed now unfortunately.

Who the frig is Ryan Brunt? Great work by the way. Brunt was a youngster we signed from Bristol City. He suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury which curtailed his progress, but had a few loan spells whilst with us- notably at Tranmere and Leyton Orient. He's just 22 so still time for him to progress up the leagues, although he's not a regular starter for Plymouth at the moment. Hope that helps.

He must have been a fairly recent signing then?
