Don't think this has been posted already. Here is a website where they have selected the best goals of the season (no Charlie Adam I'm afraid) - assume it is always going to be subjective but there are some crackers in there. Felt that Messi goal was more about context rather than being a goal of spectacle. Still a good goal of course.. www.uefa.com/goal-of-the-season/videoid=2263256.html

If any big name player or any player of any big name team had scored the exact replica of the Charlie Adam goal it would have won by a landslide so imo these competitions are meaningless and little more than an ego boost to the already bloated egos of the chosen ones! People still talk about Beckhams soft floated punt against Wimbledon when the keeper fell over as a worldy whilst Adams goal against a fully aware and possibly the worlds number one keeper was smashed in from twenty yards further back is already being played down

Some outrageous goals on that video to be fair, a lot of them in my opinion are better than Charlies.
Don't get me wrong his goal was spectacular and should be on the list however I love seeing goals such as the Neymar/Messi ones where outrageous levels of skill have been involved.
That goal scored by the bird is probably the best on the list.

Adam's goal is better than at least all of those.
