I bet you are the proudest man in Derry tonight. I bet you thought you would never see this day at your stage of life. Will you be organising a weekend pass with Ryan Air next Season ???.
Enjoy your Guinness mucker ;D

If you like music, there are a couple of pubs in Waterloo st. it's about 100 yrds from the City hotel, just around the corner there is the Ice Wharf (whetherspoons) In the Strand rd. there is a nice Italiancafe by the traffic lights that does good home cooked meals,(fish n chips and the like)Overall most pubs do good meals at decent prices during the day. What day are you coming? Maybe we could meet up somewhere if you have the time.

And nice to meet yourself and your good lady staffs, I can't believe how strong your accent is still after 25 years away. Only a 40 minute flight back, must have been pedalling fast. I ended up having a couple more in the hotel bar with some guy from the north coast who buys and sells old cars, he sent his missus and kids off to the room and watched the footie on TV.
So Arthurdollar, what's Tenerife like in October, my missus is a good redheaded catholic who can't venture into the med whilst it's summertime

But plenty of sun shelter in my local. ;D
