Ah little Ant. I was wondering just the other day if he was still "playing". Turns out he made an enormous 90 appearances over his 12 year career.
I still don't understand why nepotism is tolerated in football. It wouldn't be in any other multi-million £ business.
This isn't just a dig at the capped one, Bruce, Ferguson, Macari, Pearson and many others I'm sure have gotten away with it.

Maybe because they've come through academies with their dads in charge, don't forget it has worked for Maldini, and Lampard to pick just 2 Most sons that don't make it may clog up a squad space but in fairness to Bruce, Ferguson, Macari, Pearson none really picked them in the first team when they were miles out of their depth.

Yes they did. In fact more so than Pulis. What Pulis did was give Ant a couple of minutes at the end of games to get his appearance money. He never kept other players out of the starting 11 like some of the others did.

In Frank Junior's case it kind of worked against him. In some supporters eyes he was only there because of his father. He only got his deserved recognition when he moved on

He made a few cup appearances as well but you're right, to listen to the wankstains you'd think he'd made 200 appearances keeping Pirlo on our bench!

That makes it ok then.
It'll be interesting to see how he does because Orlando's football couldn't be further from how you'd expect a Pulis to play.

I think it undermines the authority of the manager when they have their son in the squad. Its a no-win situation like Frank Lampard for instance. Its best if it just doesnt happen

Sport, entertainment, business, politics etc. I mean, just look at the U.S. with George, George W and Jeb, aka the Bush monkeys.

I mean 6 games, Ant played in all competitions, a matter of minutes. Must make you wankstains feel like a bunch of screaming nancy boys, how you went on doesn't it?

I can't believe my old chum Bayern has not commented on this yet? It's mainly to do with the aforementioned Pulis Jnr......can't be doing with him!

It completely avoids the point. The point being that contrary to your assertion, Pulis went a whole lot further in abusing his position at the club to look after his failing offspring than any of the others you mentioned. Or are you suggesting it was okay because he got us promoted?

Drawing a wage for five years while his Dad bitched about money for players. Is that what you mean? Or maybe it was the other expenditure of the club's money to extend his career past its real life span. (10 minutes)

By the way sheikh. I was on the same train back from London as Tony Scholes last night. I had a chat, shook hands and thanked him for the work everybody puts in at the club and told him to take no notice of your gibbering.

Sadly nepotism is rife in most multi-million £ businesses, Daddy's connections are still just as important as ever. Little Ant's just a particularly egregious example, as while you can easily bullshit in banking or journalism, conning people that you're a professional standard footballer is a little harder (though I'm sure we can all think of examples of players who seem to have got away with it... )
