ffs Jamie Vardy...Ryan must be sitting at home thinking "what the hell do I have to do?" Don't you mean Crouch? Unless the answer to your question is play up front?

I'd have rather watch Arsenal's FA cup victory than that again!
The sooner Hodgson goes; the better

After Barca v Juve last night, this was appallingly bad. To describe this as an inernational football match only tarnishes the name of football itself. Both sets of supporters showed more passion than anyone on the pitch itself. Horrendous.

To be fair to the old duffer, the standard of players available to him is dire. No creativity and very little skill.

England are ranked 15th; can't see how they justify such a high rating, world football must be in a dire state.
Of course we need to make allowances for the England players who are carrying such large egos round with them.

It's the people who paid good money to watch what was a training exercise I feel sorry for. I gave up half way through the 2nd half, utter dross. And this business of England being unbeaten since the World Cup, Christ on a bike who have we played.Yes a draw against Italy in a friendly looks good on paper, that's it.

The people who paid good money would have been well aware that these friendlies are rarely anything more than a training or money-making exercise. It's been like that since Sven was in charge, probably even further back than that.

Typical dire game from England. Austin should have been on ahead of Vardy.

The biggest question I have at the moment is... Just why the hell have the Irish put the advertisements that are on the pitch - angled the wrong way? You just can't make out what they're advertising! Maybe the Irish TV cameras are on the other side of the pitch? The ITV cameras are pointing at an angle into the sun, which suggests that they are on the "wrong" side. good spot LP ,RTE on the other side

It was like watching Cheltenham V Hartlepool. Without the excitement. Or the desire. Or the commitment. And in some cases the talent.

The problem is that the piss easy qualifying group is papering over massive cracks in this team and the manager. Just what is he trying to achieve? What is his style of play, the tactics, the formation?
Everything seems to change depending on which way the wind is blowing. A rudderless team, managed by a buffoon whose boss, the FA, are a laughing stock lead by a cockney barrow boy. We'll get mullered in the Euro finals.

Hard to believe that Sterling was so incredibly shyte. He was awful. What's happened to him? If all this transfer talk has put him off his game he can go phuq himself really.

It's an end of season game that no-one gives a shit about. The only people who care are the poor bastards that shelled out good money to watch that rubbish. Playing for the national team in a friendly is below these players.

BUT for Sterling to be so disinterested and shit is just insulting. Also it doesn't reflect well on a kid who wants a high profile transfer when he hasn't got the professional pride to apply himself.
