He has been brilliant for them and is the big reason behind their great form. A giant and leader in the defence and makes players around him better too. Morgan and Wasilewski looks like Premiership defenders all of a sudden. Sureley we want him back playing next season? When he's fit he is top top quality and miles better than his countryman Wollsheid. Does anyone know when his contract expires?

Nigel Pearson as much as a twonk he is, hes doing a bloody good job atm.

Their defence has improved massively since Huth arrived and yes Pearson is doing a good job but without Huth they would still play decent football but concede cheap goals like they have done all season. Without Huth Leicester would have gone down 100%.

Yes he played Saturday and it was after he went off Leicester collapsed against Chelsea. I hope he plays in a stokeshirt next season because him and Shawcross is a top 3 cenrebackpairing in the league.

I hope he plays in a stokeshirt next season because him and Shawcross is a top 3 cenrebackpairing in the league. Oh come on. Huth went off after 25 minutes the other night and Leicester played exceptionally well for the rest of the half, scoring right on half time. They most certainly didn't fall apart after he went off. I love The Berlin Wall as much as the next Stokie, but it wasn't his injury that cost Leicester defeat the other night.

We'd be daft not to keep him even if it's as backup. Right now he's a far better option than Wolfschied and Wilson and he and Ryan play great together. I get that he's not brilliant with the ball at his feet but he only needs to play the simple balls.

Great player, but don't see him coming back. Good news is Leicester have seen his worth and will likely spend for a deal.

Without Huth Leicester would have gone down 100%. In the 13 games previous to Huth joining Leicester they had conceded 20 goals. In the 13 games since he joined Leicester they have conceded 19 goals. Not exactly a mammoth defensive improvement. I love Huth by the way, but let's not go overboard here! H

Those stats are wrong
Conceded 16 goals in games that Huth has been involved in
As mentioned 3 of them are Chelsea when he went off injured
So technically it's 13

I get that he's not brilliant with the ball at his feet but he only needs to play the simple balls. I think this is a problem. In the last three games the poor passing out of defence has been a big factor in losing the initiative and gifting opportunities to the opposition. It has to be better from the back four and the DM. It wouldn't just be Huth - it has to be better across the back.

I am really pissed off that we let Leicester have him and that he has been such a big factor in keeping them up.
I only hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the arse.
I fancy given a couple of seasons in the Prem Leicester very much have the capacity to become a top half side. I'd hate to see it happen.
It was a school boy error letting him go, that much is not in doubt.

Which is completely not true as the team have been excellent and Huth far from the stand out player but played his part. Amazing how some see what they want to see. Wasilewski has been tremendous since he first made his debut just 5 months ago. He hasn't 'all of a sudden' turned into a Prem defender at all

The fact is, Huth has needed this run to get back to speed. He's looking solid now but would he have got up to speed and recovered as quick had we kept him? Is that a risk people were willing to take?
This loan has done wonders for Huth and Leicester, maybe even Stoke. But it had to be done, I doubt he'd have recovered to his current level if he'd stayed here in Jan with the competition for places.
