It's funny how when supporters get offended, they'll try and come up with any old crap that even they don't believe about the team who's supporters offended them to try and make themselves feel better.
I don't know why our supporters would sing that to be honest anyway. I've certainly never heard it but it must have been a few to have been heard.

The West Ham fans have a valid point, insofar as our fans shouldn't be singing that. I don't much like the language used but then I don't much like the song being sung and I totally understand their fans being cross about it.

Pathetic song and not the only one of the afternoon. Another clever ditty about ISIS which some idiots tried to get going and the one about " only five of you English" completed the repertoire. The thread title alone had me perplexed. It doesn't reflect well on us at all does it really, I think the Stanley Matthews comparison is quite apt. Surely we could've come up with something funny, it's not like the ammunition isn't there what with all the bubbles and cockney-urchins and flatcaps and hobbits. Not sure why we would resort to desecrating one of their deceased legends. It's not even like we have some sort of animosity with West Ham, as far as I'm concerned they're similar to us in that they are a passionate community club with some larger clubs in their vicinity.
