Adam playing for Gerrard? If he doesn't get sent off he'll get injured.

Looking at the sides it's actually pretty good, I thought it'd be like Mark Lawrensen etc.

Just watched it, Charlie Adam played the whole second half. Spraying passes around for fun.

To be honest as much as I like him, I think he should go in the Summer. You really do have to pick and choose certain games for him and he's too good a player and too big a contract to start on the bench most weeks. He has though been chronically underused in an average home campaign this season. Sometimes you have to take risks and Charlie should be the absolute linchpin at home against sides outside the top 6.

I wasn't at that game so can't comment on that one, but hes played there before and been awful, but I agree with you that he should go in the summer, but not because he's too good to be on the bench.

Deep is his position no doubt but even when he was pondering behind Crouch in the early days he got goals and I think that's the point. There are no goals in this current midfield. None.

Can't see where somebody said he should go in the summer. I'd keep him, he's been pretty good I think this season and is a very useful lyre to have around.

The only other time I recall him playing deeper for us was when Nzonzi had a spell on the sidelines (suspension?) last season and he was terrific, especially the UTD game, think it was around the time we started playing some really good stuff.
