Hi guys, I dont post very often but Newcastle Town have a young footballer that has been nominated for the Evostick league supporters player of the year. I have seen him play several times and is deserving of this award he has also come through the junior teams of Newcastle.Another reason to vote is a FC United of Manchester player is one of the other players nominated. So it would be good to get a local lad the award. See the link below and please vote for Jordan pollmill.com/f/evostik-league-pitchero-supporters-player-of-the-season-14-15-echfb3m/answers/new.fullpagePlease don't confuse FCUM with Manchester United. FCUM are a supporter-owned, community-based club whose values are IMHO the very opposite of those found at old Trafford, which is why they were founded in the first place.

Malcolm,
I have come across these at Newcastle Town they are the worst behaved fans I have ever come across in my time watching at the lyme valley. Althought the main reason I am asking people to vote is for recognition of a good young local footballer.

Malcolm, I have come across these at Newcastle Town they are the worst behaved fans I have ever come across in my time watching at the lyme valley. Althought the main reason I am asking people to vote is for recognition of a good young local footballer. I'm really sorry to hear that, Benno. Obviously, I can't comment without knowing any details of the problems you saw, and I certainly wouldn't defend bad behaviour by any fans, however good their club. What I can say with confidence is that as a club they do a tremendous amount of good community work, and IMHO have the right values. I know Andy Walsh, the CEO, very well, and others involved in setting up and running the club, and I'm sure that they wouldn't condone bad behaviour either. A minority of supporters of any club can sometimes cause problems, and affect the reputation of all the fans of that club and the club itself (as we Stoke fans have experienced ourselves on occasions). I hope that the problems, whatever they were, were raised with Andy and his colleagues.
