Hi guys, I dont post very often but Newcastle Town have a young footballer that has been nominated for the Evostick league supporters player of the year. I have seen him play several times and is deserving of this award he has also come through the junior teams of Newcastle.Another reason to vote is a FC United of Manchester player is one of the other players nominated. So it would be good to get a local lad the award. See the link below and please vote for Jordan pollmill.com/f/evostik-league-pitchero-supporters-player-of-the-season-14-15-echfb3m/answers/new.fullpage

My dad has been going to see Newcastle Town a lot this season as my brother has signed for the U21s. He tells me Jordan Cole is a seriously talented player. Think the lad is only 21?
Could well be another Jamie Vardy, he was playing non-league not so long ago?

Could well be another Jamie Vardy, he was playing non-league not so long ago? I actually used to work with him just over a year ago, he had a couple of offers from football league sides but wasn't comfortable moving away from the area at the time. He's 20 I believe. But yeah, I played with him at power league once, needless to say he was much better than the rest of us.

Voted. Seen Jordan Cole a few times and he's got a great touch, can hold the ball up and got a great eye for goal. Newcastle are a different team without him and I would be shocked if this youngster doesn't at least make the football league.

Newcastle Town are a very enjoyable side to watch with very talented young players under the guidance of Lodgey and Robin Van De Laan. Worth a look if Stoke are away and you aren't travelling.
They should make the play-offs and deserve a decent turn out if they are at home for that.

I've seen them twice mate. Best team in the league overall and will win it barring a disaster. Having said that Castle knock the ball around better than anyone in my opinion but haven't quite got Sports power. They are as I said a young side. I have to admit I'm rather enjoying watching Leek break the bank and fall short again

It got a bit tighter tonight. Leek won at Sheffield (oldest football club in the World) whilst Sports drew at Spalding ( Slapding) who are in play-off contention but were spanked 3..1 at Castle on Saturday.

Leek have two players called up by the British Virgin Isles along with a player from Kidsgrove Athletic.
Leek have one game in hand over Sports and are six points behind.
I'm looking forward to them getting done at Castle over Easter.
