Apparently, they were tremendously voiciferous, whereas we were dreadful Stoke's "Cauldron of Noise"
A few points for consideration for any passing Tiger; 1. You brought about 12 with you. Your support was poor and the lack of interaction may have been because it's hard to hear 12 people when you are 150 yards away. 2. Like every other football team, the atmosphere inside the ground is generally as a result of the activity on the field. You played with a back 8, and showed absolutely no ambition whatsoever to try to win a game of football. I genuinely thought about going after an hour. It was Pulis away at it's absolute extreme. You ought to be ashamed of that, not sniping at opposition fans.
3. We won. Ner-ner-ne-ner-ner 4. Your gaffer has a big fat swede of a head. But he did make us laugh. So i like him now.

'Their pre match music was pretty lifting and some good choices of song and their fans still fell flat.'

When their team offered as little as they did their support have to find something else to do to amuse their minds!!!

True, but it's reflective of our comparatively secure position in this most prestigious of leagues.
I still think if required, we could still knock socks off most.

It was a crap atmosphere but if they think that singing "where's your famous atmosphere" once means the away support was good then they're seriously deluded.

In their position I would have expected more from them: sell ALL their tickets and REALLY make some noise for a team hovering very close to the bottom 3...they were pretty poor tbh
In our position I ALWAYS expect more from us...we were pretty flat too and have been quite often this season (at home)...not really sure why

I didn't hear the Hull fans sing anything, although I sit in Block 23, so it's hard to hear all 13 fans they fucking brought along from so far away.

Deluded and looking for something to chat about after their park the bus performance with 1 attempt on goal.

If we're a 'cauldron of noise', then they're a teacup of whispers.
We weren't loud by any stretch of the imagination, but their support was awful last August, same as their away support.
Unless you count mauled by the tigers, then they smash us all out the park.
They are just trying to look for ways to beat us off the pitch as they had fuck all going for them there.

Without getting into the ins and outs of away support that was a surprisingly poor turn out from Hull
I thought they would probably not fullly sell the big allocation but to only sell just over half of the small allocation was a poor effort all around tbh
It suprised me anyway

The atmosphere was dreadful on Saturday and i don't think anyone can argue that but the turnout from the Hull fans was poor imo.Having said that if Saturday is anything to go by i'm surprised they have that many following them.

I sit in the South stand. I did not hear the away fans once during the game. They probably fell asleep. (I nearly did)

It was a boring game, that's for sure. There was only ever one winner though, and we managed to do that without getting out of second gear. That probably explains why we're where we are, and they're in a battle for relegation.
You get games like that from time to time throughout a season. The important thing is that you win them. Something we struggled with at the start of the season.
I wouldn't take any of the criticism too seriously. If we were shit, then they were shitter and they were supposedly the team with everything to fight for.

Our atmosphere is poor most games these days. Crowd used to help pick the team up... Now the team always have to show up first.
Sitting in the corner of boothen and Seddon is like a day trip from an old folks home.
Be better if they implemented a singing stand or section to get all the noisy ones together try and build it up again... At least it would feel like an away match for those in that section where the support is nearly always amazing.

They had one guy with a stuffed tiger and literally sounded like they were whispering each song. I don't get them.

There was a magnificently upholstered Tiger print mobility scooter in The Harvester that one of our Hull friends was bombing around on. I was most impressed.
