Begovic Bardsley Wollschied Wilson Pieters Whelan Nzonzi Moses Cameron Arnautovic Crouch
Walters (Moses/Arnie 60min), Adam (Cameron 60min), Diouf(Crouch 70min) subs.
Can't see Diouf as a deep cf or cam in any way because of his touch. Adam can't go a full 90 it looks. Let Adam and or Cameron/Walters play behind the beast Crouch.

We know Everton won't park the bus, Diouf made it very hard for them to play out of the back the last time we met. Crouchy has to be plan b for this one. As much as I rate Adam not sure we want him on from the off, more of a 75th minute sub if we are chasing the game. Question is who do we play behind Diouf? Do we give Arnie a run out at CAM?

I sit next to an Everton fan at work, and we're discussing this. I think SJW And Diouf in a 442 could work well, with the pressing and work rate. Although crouch deserves a start I don't think he'd be as effective in this game. He seems to think they'll play 442 with Kone and Lukaku up front.

Diouf and Crouch, maybe diouf and walters up top. Certainly wouldn't consider him in the hole anytime soon. He's out wide or nothing (preferably on the right)

Martinez has never lost at the Brit......time for change!!!!! Looking at sequences/stats. : Everton are bottom of the current away form table with just 1 win in 8 matches and no draws. Stoke's recent sequence of Prem. results has been: LWWD LWWD LWW?I agree time for a change. Come on Charlie, show MH what he's been missing!

I agree. Said this in a previous post. Stoke have 20 points in the last 10 league games (2 pts/game). Losses were against Arse and Citeh. Hopefully Balckburn was just a blip due to poor tactics. Everton has 7 in 10 games (0.7 pts/game) only win was against Palarse. If anyone has trouble with the maths send me a PM and I'll explain.

Our front 3 need to press them, not give them any time on the ball to build from the back,it's a Martinez team so they're prone to making stupid mistakes when put under pressure. Get at them from the off and the 3 points will be ours

We're in a great position right now. We COULD be 8th with a win tonight and we can't be overtaken from our current position even if we lose. The best way to beat Everton is to attack them and force the kind of defensive mistakes they've been making all season. If you let them play, they are a decent side (despite their league position). I hope we have a bloody good go at them tonight and, if we lose, well so be it, we're still looking good in the bigger picture.
I get the feeling we'll need to play well to win tonight.

Taken off Grand Old Team forum, don't know if these are right?
We don't usually win there, our last win there was the 3-2 victory in September 2008 at their place, we've drawn on each of our last 3 visits we've won 0 of our last 4 Wednesday outings - W0 D2 L2 and it's a 7.45pm kick-off - we've won 0 of our last 6 games starting at that time - W0 D3 L3 and Mark Clattenburg will be the referee this time round & in away games with him in the middle we've won 0 of the last 5 - W0 D1 L4.
So going by that & knowing us, Stoke 0 Everton 3
But i personally think we will beat them 2-1

Very tough match tonight but there should be a bit more space in behind than Hull gave us.
I'd let Diouf give their centre halves the run around for an hour then unleash my lovely, big giraffe boy for another late headed winner.
Come on Stoke, keep it going...

The amount of people that want Diouf and Crouch on is worrying. Adam in please. 4-4-2 doesn't work.
