I feel distinctly uneasy about this fixture. Can we really keep up our good run despite not playing particularly well? If the "get up and get at em" Stoke start the first half then we should win this match. However, if we don't then I fear that Everton will sneak a goal or two, or even three and we will lose. It would be nice to win and go 8th though. Oh the peaks and troughs of being a Potter!

Watching Everton yesterday against Arsenal, Jagielka has the speed of a glacier, so I would go 2 up top with Crouch flicking them on to Diouf to run onto.... Look at this thenbtw, I don't believe it And "Spliff" N'Zonzi strolls in at number 4!

I know it's a cliche but I wouldn't change a winning team. So I'd keep the same line up that finished against Hull. Barring more injuries (!), the main question is who to bring on after 60-70 minutes when Charlie is knackered. Maybe bring on Cameron and move Nzonzi up. Also may need to bring on Diouf for Crouch if we need to inject more pace. I saw Cameron play as DM once and I thought he had a good game (can't remember who it was against).
I have a good feeling about tomorrow and I can't see us losing. But I have been a fan long enough to expect disappointments. Anyway, we are on a roll: 6 wins and 2 draws in last 10 league games (20 points in 10 games is top 4 form) and only losses were to Arsenal away and City at home. Hopefully loss to Blackburn was an abberation due to "a bad day at the office" and some uncharacteric poor coach's decisions. All this despite an unprecedented number of injuries. So morale and confidence must be sky high. Everton on the other hand are in a major slump, only one league win in last 10 (against Palarse) and the coach seems to have lost his way. 2-0 or 3-1. Got to be optimistic.

Can a Manager really leave out a player who's scored 4 goals in 4 games?

I think Everton will try to keep the ball, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Whelan sitting with Sidwell getting into their midfield and Fonzi pushing on.
Could be over complicating it though. Charlie looked dangerous on Satdee and I think MH will reward that with a start. He's got options in midfield.
Would be harsh to leave out Crouch when he keeps scoring.

Begovic Bardsley Wilson Wollshied Pieters Cameron Whelan Walters N'Zonzi Moses Crouch Drop Diouf to accommodate Geoff? Nah, Cameron's on so Adam isn't starting, I don't rate Diouf that much and even less on the wing and feel Crouch deserves a start.

As stated before, I'd start with Adam and bring on Cameron after 60 minutes when Charlie's knackered and move Nzonzi up. Cameron has done well at DM when given a chance. Bring on Diouf in last 15-20 minutes if we are level or behind and need to add more pace.
