Apparently LMH wants it loud tomorrow boys!
'as they look to ramp up the pressure on Swansea and West Ham in the race for Europe.' I like the sound of that.

Great to hear from Sparky considering his experience He certainly hasn't played the "crowd" card like Pulis used to every home game, so makes it more believable to me Great feeling around the club just now - imagine how good it would have been without the Blackburn debacle !!

We can be Franklin, we need to be like it 100% of the time not just when we have a shit decision go against us! Let's get our famous atmosphere back from the first minute tomorrow!

We are playing Hull. The atmosphere will be average at best.

Our actual support, in its truest sense isn't that great, our outright indignation at a wrong, percieved or otherwise, is world class, if not the very best around.

Agree, the slightest indication of an injustice and we're a pretty horrible bunch, that Danny Rose atmosphere was described as 'poison' by the MOD commentator. I thought it was Stoke at our best!

What would you say was our best one? Arsenal is a given but my favourite of recent years being when Shaun Cunt-Phillips got Rory sent off

Remember that, I liked Commons when he played for us and even I was surprised by the level of abuse. It completely fucked with his head though and I've never seen a more demoralised footballer leave the field of play when he was subbed.

A year or two after the event Gareth Barry told me he'd never experienced anything like it during the game where we beat villa in our first premier league home match.
Apparently, it coincided with the period he was looking to get out of Villa and stokies taunted him mercilessly.
He described it as one of the worst performances of his life and attributed much of that to the off putting hostility of the crowd.
He left me convinced he'd play for us one day though that time has obviously now passed.

When you hear stuff like that, direct from the horse's mouth, it makes you a little sad that we don't turn up often enough. As MoMo says, we are untouchable when it comes to an injustice...

Ask Danny Rose what we're like. I've never seen anything like that in 28 years of following the Potters.
It was bloody great.

I still think the Man City and SWP treatment was worse than even the Rose abuse. Without a hint of any racist overtone, SWP turned white with fear that day and couldn't wait to get off the pitch.
