He's just turned up at Clayton Wood, other players not there. Think they travelled yesterday?

He'll be a big miss hopefully he'll be back for Villa / Hull. Can't believe how bad our injuries have been this year.

Hope not. I don't think I can remember an injury run like this in 34 years of watching Stoke. Saying that I think we will be ok today but reckon itll be a tight one. 2-1 (Crouch and N'zonzi)

Jesus wept, at this rate I might be getting a game for Stoke. My hamstring has just tweaked thinking about it.

Think it was John Ritchie (which ended his career), Peter Dobing and Jimmy Robertson.

It was ritchie, smith, robbo, pejic (I think) with broken legs and greenhoff, broken shoulder and a couple of other long term injuries to players. We would have won the league title that year. Shit happens to stoke when we are almost there, must be gypsy curse or something?

SSN reporting he's having a late fitness test - keep Blackburn guessing

If we can't beat Blackburn without Jon Walters, it's time to give up!
Lets hope he's fit and raring to go but if he isn't it gives him another week to get ready for the Villa game. Win-win!

I can remember one of our lads had his leg broke by Kevin Beattie at Ipswich. When we played the home game this guy recieved 90 minutes of full blown grief from the Boothen.
