Hi Guys Have to say that I am really looking forwards to this one.
Seemed strange not having a game yesterday and watching one or two shocks happen. Anyway you guys seem to be a decent lot and well up for it so it should be a cracking atmosphere regardless of it not being a sell out.
Here is some info that may help you enjoy your trip to Spotland.
There is limited parking around the ground but there is Oulder Hill School about 5mins walk to the ground with loads of Free Parking.
The great Chippy opposite your stand will be open, but expect big queues as it gets busy on a match day.
Drinking wise not too sure if GMP have put any closure notices on any of the Local Pubs, but the Radclife Arms is always away fan friendly and gets full pretty quickly.
Any how hope all this helps a bit lets hope its a great game and for what its worth my hope for tomorrow is a Draw and back to the Britannia..
Any questions just ask.
Enjoy PS:The pitch is fine and we now have a full pitch cover supplied by BT in Place.

I'm not going but all the best for the season but not tomorrow. I have to say I took a real shine to Keith Hill in the Fenners interview he seems like a top bloke.

How come its not sold out mate? What the expected attendance? Do you have a good left winger? If so please leave him out of the starting line-up as Bardsley doesnt like getting the runaround. Heres to Stoke winning a 5-4 thriller

Cheers, think I'll get the train in from Birchwood near Warrington, avoid the traffic chaos, last one back from Manch to Birchwood is 23.27 and only takes 30 minutes, give time for a couple of decent ales to wear off.

Those of us who've been around long enough to watch us when we were really crap are looking forward to this "old school" trip. I remember the chippy from our last visit in the autoglass trophy area final and also the 3 trips to spotland for 3 postponements only for you to beat us when the game was switched to the Brit. Hopefully no banana skins lie in wait tomorrow!

I think moving it to a Monday night has scuppered the chance of a full house.
Think there will be around 8000 on if the ticket sales reports are correct.
Don't think Fabien Brandy will play but if he does he will be a real pain as he is Quick.

I for one think its going to be a tough game. H Same here, I really am not expecting it to be comfortable for us. We could do with an early goal & keep the ball to take the crowd out of it.

After some of the results yesterday, I'm not has sure has I was about us winning this one. Whoever wins though, either of us wont be getting drawn against Chelsea or the Mancs.

I think it'll be tough in the same way Leicester was tough. I'm confident

The weekend's results if anything have made me feel more confident. It's going to be tough no doubt but if anything I think it puts a bit more pressure on them to try and emulate every bugger else!

In my view the two shocks yesterday and Man United drawing on Friday is Carlsberg-esque for us. Not only does it provide motivation to get through as the 5th round field isn't as strong as it could've been, and not only does it remind our players that this could get very sticky if we don't go there with the right amount of respect for Rochdale and the correct attitude, but it also takes pressure off our shoulders as a shock tomorrow would pale in comparison to the result at Eastlands and especially the stunning turnaround at Stamford Bridge.

If so he has got a bit of pace but not much else from what I saw, however this was only one game against Coventry

Only 30 min drive for us boys from burnley. Hoping to be in a pub around 5.15. Happy days for once for us lads we just need to win. To all other fellow stokies as said a few times in this thread please do set off as early as possible because the M60 can be a nightmare but you should be ok as it's just controlled to 50 mph. Safe journey all .

Potential pubs pre match include ratcliffe arms, the unfortunately named but recommended cemetery hotel (half a mile from ground), Church inn or the baum, the baum being furthest away at 1.4 miles from the ground.

Car broke into, satnav nicked got piss wet through with no glass in the drivers side on the journey home and we lost the game! TV for me tomorrow.
