Bardsley was a free unless you mean the fee we paid for Cameron? Wages. He was a free because Sunderland thought he was utter shite. Rightly so. Sunderland offered him a contract.

Wages. He was a free because Sunderland thought he was utter shite. Rightly so. They offered him numerous new contracts. To sit on the bench. They were already bringing in continental talent. He should of stayed there so we could of bought a proper RB. Waste of wages to get done in each week on the edge and lose possession passing to himself. He's a dire footballer.

He is a dire footballer but he's a dire footballer Sunderland wanted to keep. And he's not as dire as Geoff at right back.

Like I have said before, you cant name 10 successful outfield Americans that have 'made it' in the prem. Hughes is a good manager and picks the best team he can that's why Cameron is not a regular, only fill in. Seeing as how the Americans are quite new to european football your statement is wildly absurd. But carry on. Seeing as how he's not a regular, some of our best performances this season have been with the "American" at filling in when needed at RB and in midfield. Go figure. I think that the first yank to play in England was John Harkes in 1990? so 10 players in 25 yrs isn't to much to ask.

When they've had over 200 years to build a nationwide association which has academies solely for football like in Britain then you might see some more "Yank" players in more professional leagues. Same goes for the Canadians.

Problem is, Cameron isn't a "Natural RB" who starts every week and gets done in by lower league opposition and is just dire at his natural position. mind you. Wilko and even Wilson at LB have better ball retention than Bardsley sad to say it but it's true.

Brilliant result for Boro today. Good to see Deano still doing a job in midfield too. Never let us down. Great day of football. But you slaughter Whelan ? FFS

You're a xenophobe of anything from the US if I've ever seen on here? Your vitriol for a certain player is evident, perhaps its a old historical grief? Did a Yank rape your gran during the war?

Can you let me know who was meant to be marking Terry please? I love how this has turned into a bash Cameron thread... Is it because a certain people on here praised Bardsley so highly and now we've all seen half a season of his dire attempt at being a RB??? Ask Bardsley if he want's his arse back from Schlupp, Mata, Young, Hazard (who had a field day) and worst of all Kightly... As you said before when we wanted to sign him, "He's fucking awful."
