There was a draft allegedly but I don't think it was signed based on what I read earlier. If it was I doubt they have a leg to stand on

So on the face of it, if Pulis has shafted jewell and West Brom have to fork out a load of compensation, they'll not be happy with Pulis, or if the club have shafted one of his mates then Pulis ain't gonna be happy with them. Not a happy start. Long may it continue.

Reading between the lines the only thing that is clear is that Jewell has no loyalty From the outside it appears tony trued doing him a favour Francis became available and the favour was reduced. Nothing signed and the guy goes to the press. Exactly what had Jewell lost? He had no job and he still has no job? TP's made an arse of this. He was given a budget for his coaching staff and he's gone over it by appointing Francis. It's reported that he even offered to take a pay cut himself if Jewell would do likewise (though he's obviously on way more than Jewell is) but Jewell refused. I don't see how 'loyalty' has anything to do with it.

I was looking at it from a being picked up from the management scrap heap by a mate, then running off to the press when it hasn't worked out.

I'd give it till the end of the year but we are in the transfer window so maybe over the next two weeks.

The one thing we know about Pulis's relationship with owners is you're never really sure what is going on. I think that even applies to Peter Coates.

Weird thing is that people who often slagged TP off and couldnt wait get rid of him are following his every move and posting none stop about the bloke or his clubs!

I was looking at it from a being picked up from the management scrap heap by a mate, then running off to the press when it hasn't worked out. Jewell is far from being my favourite character in football, but I think he's been shabbily treated here. If someone offered me a job at a certain rate of pay and then, AFTER I STARTED THE JOB, then asked me to take a pay cut, I'd be out of the door. Even if the contract hadn't been drawn up, I think I'd feel that my employer was not to be trusted if they tried to move the goal posts two days after I started work. This isn't particularly a dig at TP. If West Brom allow their manager to discuss salaries with his staff then more fool them. Not because the manager is TP but because multi £million turnover companies simply should not let their manager get involved in the salary negotiations with his staff. I presume somewhere in the club is a chief exec and/or a financial director who are paid well to do that sort of thing. Like Jewell, I'd seek legal advice to see if I had a case for constructive dismissal.

Well Peace wouldn't let that Spanish bloke pick any of his staff, he's gone from that to letting all the King's horses and all the King's men come into play! Sold his soul to the devil!

I don't think any of us would start a half decent job without a written letter and a contract offer, makes you wonder who is advising him, agent wise?

Not having a dig at TP, but it is no coincidence that this sort of shit happens wherever he goes?
