It's not one to linger on and my eyes are already on next Saturday but outplayed I can take. Outfought is where the anger stems from.

Every newspaper preview I read suggested "Stoke wan't make it easy for Arsenal". Not so. Sadly I do not think we turned up. In fact the limp performance echoed exactly what Arsenal were accused of at the Brit only a few weeks ago. An Arsenal season ticket holder texted me at half time and said that if we got a goal "this paranoid lot will crumble - I've seen it so many times." My response was "Possibly - but we will not score". Many of us could have kept goal for them yesterday. It would not have changed the outcome. |

I was shocked at how many 50/50's we lost against players we laugh about for being weak. Shawcross aside, I can't think of a single player who came out looking good. Even our subs were shit. |
