I've noticed that the rest of the conference are playing today but not Wrexham, it will make them fresh for Sunday. I think the subs from today v Man Utd will all start but who else? "Fresh for Sunday"? Should it make the slightest of difference if our players whoever selected play to even 50% it should be enough, not arrogance just reality. We've seen what we've done to teams even in the championship let alone conference in the fa cup in recent seasons I remember Blyth Spartans, Telford, Nuneaton, Tamworth etc. I the FA cup, then we've had Rochdale etc. In the league cup. It shouldn't matter but Wrexham have some old heads who can damage you with experience and possibly defend for their lives? We battered Leicester but lost to their only effort on goal, Just been cautious

We've brushed aside lower league teams with ease since Sparky took over.

Yes I know we have, that's why I've put down a changed team as my option for the match, which will also give ours a rest before Arsenal but my original query of why haven't Wrexham played today when the rest of the conference have hasn't been answered, they weren't postponed so was wondering why?

That doesn't seem right that they can call the game off as they have the FA cup tie coming up, I wonder what's in the FA rules/laws about it.

Although it's a big day for Wrexham surely their priority this season is promotion. It seems like they're happy just to forget about the league for a while and put all their efforts into this match. They may regret it when it's all over and they've got a backlog of fixtures to deal with.

Should win comfortably, but we've got to get the early goal in my opinion, otherwise they'll just be encouraged.

Just reading the January transfer thread, then thinking that players who do not feature in the matches this weekend will not be cup tied!
Leaving out some of our better players may make them more attractive to potential clubs
Similarly, players who do not feature at other clubs, could still feature in the Cup if they move (and of course if the club make it to the next round)!
Please play Ryan

I didn't realise big Louis Moult is there. Reckon he'll come back to haunt us? Show us what we're missing?

I've a soft spot for Wrexham, we made a lots of friends on the Isle of Man 92 tour. We met up regularly for a couple of seasons afterwards.
To be fair I know nothing about their team these days, I expect us win comfortably.
Sadly, my son has thrown a spanner in the works so I won't be driving up for the match tomorrow.

The only ones most people would probably know are Louis Moult and Andy Bishop I think Brett Ormerod and Andy Morrel left them in the summer.

We need to keep an eye on Bishop he's a real goal poacher, it's only a couple of bad injuries at Bury that stopped him moving up the leagues. He almost signed for Wolves when they were in the Championship if memory serves me right.
