This is the way I see it. Poor performance against a team I think played better than both Burnley and Leicester, but we got the result and we are into the next round. Onwards and upwards!

Are you abroad? Probably UK only. Works for me? Yes, i´ve already seen....doesn´t work in my territory :'( You need a browser extension called Hola, or any other kind of service called a "proxy". Ask that to access the links for you using a UK flag service.

Hope we draw the Baggies away. I bloody don't! Me neither, I hope Pulis's mob get Chelsea away and a fucking hammering. Regarding today's game, how many times have we been the Wrexham in the past? Playing with dogged determination and pride for 80 minutes until the tank is empty only to get done by 2 or 3 late goals by the superior opposition. Well, we're The Prem team now and we do the late rescue and victory. That's progress...

How, it still isn't a good performance is it ![(slaphead)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/x7GhxArXJzjvmIlugu2X.gif) Why a game is 90 mins. It's the FA Cup. We won 3-1. If we'd scored 3 in the first 20 and they'd got a consolation you'd be saying different. We've had more possession, more corners, more shots off target, more shots on target against a team with nothing to lose. I can't see the issue. A good result is different to a good performance. You say that, "If we'd scored 3 in the first 20 and they'd got a consolation you'd be saying different." and that I can't agree with, from my understanding from the radio and my mate at the game we didn't look like scoring but had most of the possession, if we were already 3 up I'd say fair enough we are playing it safe and solid and going for a clean sheet. That's not the case however we needed a goal and didn't look like scoring for the vast majority of a match against none league opposition. I'm happy with the result and unhappy with the performance! You're right about the fact the game is 90 minutes, and for a good performance we should be thoroughly dominating throughout.

Good last 10 mins. I can see that mark Hughes will be disappointed with certain players. Football is a team game. A strong team , but changes does not always equal good team work. MH will have learnt quite a bit about his players today. Also a very useful work out for some of our players. There is something poetic about the fact that Stoke were on their way out of the FA Cup with 10 minutes to go and 3 of the players who have been given the most slagging this season have combined to pull the team out of the proverbial: Ireland, Arni, and Wilson (assist). Wrexham's performance shows how effort and commitment can be a great leveler.

For all our profligacy, shocking passing and semi-comatose state, we were just about good for the win. We peppered the southern half of Stoke with wayward shots, but sooner or later something was going to hit tge target.
Wrexham did not give themselves a proper chance. They had a couple of spells of attacking pressure and I'm pleased for them that they got their goal. But most of the time they posed no threat to Stoke. I would not have begrudged them a draw, but I don't think Wrexham deserved the win.

Good result all told, we're in the hat, had a bit of a scare, but in the end comfortable winners.

Was it just me or did anyone else feel nervous at the amount of time Butland spent out of his area in the second half. I kept expecting to see him lobbed.

I think I expected a more tight knit performance from our players; think everyone knew what Wrexham would do; so we have to match them with effort & then impose our supposed prem class - but for 85 minutes this was non-existent; how many square balls from Huthy to Ryan & back & back & back - because no one upfront was making runs or supporting each other; we weren't a team just individuals lounging around; no urgency & needed shaking up; if we play like that every week ..........

Its a results business and we got the result. Rather play poor and win like most successful teams do every now and then, than play well and lose. We played with a completely different spine to the team today with the likes of N'Zonzi, Bojan and Crouch not on the pitch, against a team who were the nations favourites (nobody wanted us to win). They were well up for it, and had a massive following (who were sounding great). We won in the last 10 mins as we will no doubt have the fitness levels that they won't have. Another good day at the office in my opinion
