He has looked that good at times, when played through the middle, he shouldn't be put on the wing

Maybe a big collective hug from all of us will help get the best out of him. Chuffed that he got a couple against the Baggies - he needed it. Onwards and upwards after the ACON of course :-P

I respectfully disagree. I see a lot of pace and a lot of 6 yard box goals, bit of a bundler. I think he'll be very good for us. We sold Jerome for £1.5m and got a better, younger version, for free. He's also brilliant defensively at the top of the pitch, which is a very underrated facet of the Premier League game for all but the top sides. Just keep knockin' them in, Mame.

He definitely works his balls off tracking back to help his full back I agree and his defensive work is a real help to the team. I just get the feeling that he needs to be up front to get on the end of stuff and his confidence will grow from the goals. He seems like he beats himself up too much as well which shows he cares but can have a detrimental affect too.

We can only really play him up top when we're defending a lead and can use his pace in behind a defence.
If we need a goal or we're playing against a defence sitting deep, as many teams are doing against us now, then his woeful touch and inability to hold the ball up makes him a weak link. This is why Crouch keeps starting (and is needed) as his ability to hold the ball and bring the team into play is far, far superior.
We need them both and to use them in the right situations. Exactly how Sparky did on Sunday.

Bojan's a useless target man, bless him, so if we play Diouf thriugh the centre that means whe nwe boot balls out of defence, nothing is gonna stick.
Unkess we decide to leave one of the wingers further up the pitch and play the angles instead of going centrally.
