Its not hard though is it mate ffs. Perhaps you like seeing the ball being twatted around for 90 minutes. If you do then fair enough thats ur preference. But to say the football is shit, its just bollox, Hughes has carried on to bring success to the club and you still wanna carry on with an agenda. Why cant you just give a little praise to a manager that is doing a very decent job with a 20 times less the budget ur hero had! Sorry but I just don't see it the way yourself and others do. I'll be back though singing those praises should it improve. So you are denying Hughes has carried on the 'success' of the previous manager?

Don't bring me into it. I only say its bad when its bad and I also give praise when its due. I was referencing your hatred for our current manager which I still find strange. Fair enough. Guilty as charged! Happy new year all. Gonna do my nails then off on the piss. Enjoy.

He did well last season as I've stated previously, however this season I just think it's poor for reasons I've already given. Quite why it bothers people so much where others have different opinions than they themselves hold I just don't know.

We're halfway through the season and halfway to the points we got last year. In anyone's book that is carrying on the success. Couple it to having no money to spend on transfer fees and a crippling injury list then most people would say it's even better. Why don't you tell us what your expectations are from this current Manager and players. It appears that you were happy to have your expectations checked by a manager who had the keys to the bank but now they are sky high. You contradict yourself at every turn sunshine.

We have been so lucky for Uncle Peter to not only make his fortune, but make two cracking appointments as manager in TP and LMH.
TP was the right man to promote us and stabilise our position in the Prem. I doubt LMH could have done that particular job as well.
However, TP was not the man to take things forwards, but LMH is perfect for that role.
Long may LMH continue as our manager (and yes, it is fun seeing what has become of TP).

Not sure where this our defence is crap stuff comes from, only the top 4 and Villa have conceded less goals than us.

That's like saying if we had lost the semi final we wouldn't have gone to Wembley.

Or similarly one could look at it by not leaving ourselves so open at the back and keep hoping that the opposition keep fluffing easy chances.

You do realise that there was a statistic the other week about only Southampton had conceded fewer shots on target against them than Stoke? And that almost 50% of shots resulted in goals, which completely against your argument about us allowing loads of chances which are getting fluffed by opponents?

There has been plenty of missed sitters. Thank goodness West Brom reflected their poor run of form too and fluffed several unchallenged opportunities. Still, as long as those stats add up then ditch those blinkers.

Tazi's criteria for Mark Hughes to earn his respect:
Beat the big teams, because apparently we always did that anyway Beat the little teams as well Win at home Win away Score loads of goals Never concede any goals

You need to remove your Pulis tinted specs , he was sacked eighteen months ago by Peter Coates, we have not fared too badly since despite the limited funds now available to Hughes, yes Pulis was the right man at the right time given the huge investment afforded to him by PC, he failed to kick on after the FA Cup final and we stagnated as a club playing some fuck awful football despite spending vast sums of money on players he did not how to utilise properly. He has now moved on to West Brazil where I am sure his footballing ethics will be hugely appreciated by the purist samba boys from rio de smethick, he will keep them up with ease and if he is given all his own way he may even stop for a second season, if not he will walk out taking his toys with him as he did at Palace.
