As susceptible to increases and decreases as the rest. From 39,000+ in 99/00; to less than 22,000 in 06/07 and 12/13. I remember our twatting of them at Elland Road took place in front of less than 17,000.
A city with 2.5 times the population of Stoke-on-Trent with a single professional team.
Certainly nowt special!

Their away support is the best in the country considering what a poor team they are....

Still dislike them Respect GD I too have a dislike for them which stems back to the 70's and I have not been losing too much sleep watching their demise. They are a sleeping giant though and their fans are very passionate about their club, they would definitely be an asset to the premiership and a fixture I would look forward to. The championship is am awful standard and when clubs with minimal budget and supporters like Brentford/Bournemouth top the table, it makes you wonder why a club like Leeds cant breeze their way back to the Prem. Good luck to them - I think

Horrible club with some of the worst fans in the game. Sure some are quite lovely but as a whole they are an embarrassment to the game.

Lived there for a few years. Great city, lovely people in the main.
One of my favourite teams outside of Stoke City. Would love them to come back up.

I lived in Leeds for a while.
Like many clubs they have some decent fans and some nutjobs. Just like us. All this suffering is relative. They have to live with the comparisons of their past glories.
But anyone who had to endure their arrogance in the seventies will struggle to endear themselves to them.

Remember the song: We all hate Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, we all fucking hate Leeds. Rpt. Sung with a real purpose for very good reason.

Leeds have the 3rd highest population of an English city. They have wakefield not far with a massive population. Leeds is a one team city. They should be getting 40,000 now when poor and 70,000 plus if do well. So in my eyes their support is poor. Now sheffield as a footballing city is yorkshire and probably Englands hotbed.
