Watching this dross on now, we must be if we're losing to these pair at home. What a load of old shite in front of a half empty Villa Park.

It's a shame we have thrown so many easy points this season, the table is so fucked we could easily be sat where West Ham are now. I think we are a much better team. Southampton are a cut above though, really have played excellent stuff this season!

The problem is when we are good we are fantastic but when we are bad we are dogshit. Consistency is what we are missing and as soon as we can find a happy medium we will look a whole lot better.

I genuinly believe if we could have started the season with our players who'd been at the World Cup and kept injury free we'd be on 30 points by now.
A team of
............................Bego.................,......
Bardsley.......Ryan........Huth..........Eric
.................NzonI.............Sidwell...........
.......Odom............Bojan..........Moses...
........,,,,,,,,,,............Diouf........................
Would terrify most PL defences

Amazing what confidence and a bit of luck can do. West ham could play with their laces tied together at the moment and still win. Bang average side at best.
you can be the best player in the world but low on confidence and you're championship at best.
an average player full of confidence can look like a world beater.

Any team can lose to a bad side.
Not any team can go to the Etihad and White Hart Lane and get a result, whilst also thrashing Arsenal at home (lets be honest, for a shit decision by a ref it would have been a thrashing in scoreline) and coming within inches of getting results at Anfield and Old Trafford with a depleted side/squad.
We're far from rubbish.

We're not rubbish, but the way we set up means certain games suit us a lot more than others.
Basically we still need a Plan B. I've got faith in this manager to find one.

Agree entirely and whilst we're grappling around for that plan B, I'm sure we will continue to be better away from home than at the Brit.

Would terrify most PL defences Easily top 4 by now if we could have kept injury free but how many mid table sides can say that? If we can get the players back and keep the same team for a run of games we will cement our reputation as a changed side and hand out some damn good thrashings along the way. Kind of like the end of last season but with more goals. And Bojan.

I know I'm gonna get some stick again, but we are playing in a state of confusion most of the time. I really really miss the structured high tempo game under Tony & it just feels like we have 11 individuals just doing their own thing (which I suppose is exciting, as we never know what's going to happen next) rather than a whole squad fighting for each other. Most of the players we have now wouldn't care less if we went down, which we won't this season as there as so many poor sides. Saying that we could go & finish 8th as all the other clubs are just as bad!

Leicester, Aston Villa, Burnley, 2 goal lead against West Ham. 8 from bottom, only 6 teams have scored less than us as well.

I like to be as optimistic as the next stokie but all this 'if we hadn't have had any injuries' is bollocks! Every team goes into the season knowing that players will get injured. That is often why the best clubs have not only a good team but; good cover too!
Also You only have to look at Arsenal and Liverpool's squads on paper to see that these clubs will finish top 6 because they have good squads. One of the reasons why we haven't won against Villa, Burnley and Leicsteter in my opinion is because we didn't have the sub's to come on and change the game. We had some of our best players injured and therefore our sub's started and therefore we didn't have our usual impact sub's to change it if we werent having our day. All teams have 'off' days!
