It has to be up there with the best half in the prem and the only other one i can remember when we we're 3 up was Fulham at home on that snowy night and we also won 3-2 hanging on.Great team performance.

This one - by a mile. Smudge is the work Rivals are doing this weekend going to result in their board becoming anything like this one as far as the functions are concerned? Or will it be back to the same tired old format on Monday? Belter from Dempsey that night.

The first half was magnificent and had that fourth goal not been disallowed we'd be talking about one of the greatest Stoke City victories in our history.
We still talk about the 5-0 over forty years later, but today could have been better.
Stoke were brilliant today.

The semi final against Bolton? Given the quality of the opposition it was better we destroyed them

Belter from Dempsey that night. It was mate and even Mama scored that night. How can you forget the fizzing half volley off the turf? It nearly melted the snow and burnt the grass. Miss Mama in a strange way.

We would have just destroyed them and the goal itself was mint

We were fucking awesome and the scoreline flattered the bastards.

Wenger would've been on his arse as well. There's no way he could've survived a 4-0 defeat (at least) at Stoke.

If the 4th goal had stood, we would have declared, because without any doubt we would have won at least 7

It's good for us in the long run that Wenger keeps his job. I'd rather beat them by a single goal every year than give them such a thrashing they sack Wenger. Let's not kill the goose that lays the golden egg.

Imo today's was a better performance than Bolton because of the opposition. We completely tore to pieces one of European top sides, if there had been longer to go to half time when walters got the 3rd we would have banged in a couple more. We were rampant

Great finish mate and the lord was on the scoresheet also.[/ quote] Don't forget Tuncay That was Mama's night. I don't think I have ever seen a single player destroy opponents as completely as Mama did. And to cap it all he probably scored the greatest goal in our history. Funny how that one ended 3-2 as well.

The connection is Woy. Every time he comes to the Brit we win 3 2. We should give him a complimentary season ticket!

The FA Cup match for me
Just Shawcross and Walters starting on both occasions!
Glenn and Huth making appearances as subs yesterday
Arsenal seen as a "bigger scalp"? but we were underdogs v Bolton and very few neutrals thought that we would win, certainly not 5-0
Here's hoping that we get a favourable home draw tomorrow for the FA Cup 3rd round
