Hi everyone, While its quiet on here and if you have a few moments spare could you please help a fellow Stokie out? Its part of my university work and its about if footballers should have Twitter accounts, I argue against it. So if you have a spare few moments then listen to my podcast and comment underneath whether you agree or disagree or what viewpoint you take. (You might need to sign up but it takes a few seconds) You dont realise how much this would help me out, thanks in advance! Link: mhm.hud.ac.uk/planetradio/node/291

I don't think we need to listen to your podcast to tell you that footballers should NOT be allowed anywhere near social medja. They share a brain cell as it is and the vasdt majority suffer from severe foot in mouth disease There are exceptions...Robert Huth as an example On the other hand...isn't it great being able to laugh at how stupid the likes of Rio Ferdinand really are when they make such tits of themselves on twatter

I'm not sure if a player should be told what to do in his personal life. I understand if a player is going out slating other people, but considering all footballers have a mind, most of them don't do that.

It seems to be the higher profile players such as Cole and Ferdinand that have got themselves into a bit of trouble over it. Both of these have also been in the game a very long time so it beggars belief that they can't act responsibly or as role models over the internet. Do you think it should be written into their contracts that they cant have Twitter accounts?
