Got a feeling that Muniesa may be the one to miss out, which would be harsh on him.
Sounds like Bardsley will probably make it. Shawcross picks himself. The window in midfield seems to have closed on Geoff now, with Sidwell looking fine and Whelan back in contention - so Hughes could well give him a go there. Still think he favours Pieters at LB, so it'll just be a case of how debilitating the cut on his heel is.
SO I'd go have a guess at: Bardsley-Shawcross-Cameron-Pieters

Muinesa will play before Cameron ..esp after spuds performance I think it'd be harsh to go in without either of them, to be honest. Either will feel pissed off if they end up on the bench. Personally I think I'd go in with Cameron-Shawcross-Muniesa-Pieters. I think it's the kind of game where we'll be on the front foot and benefit from Geoff's particular attributes from full-back more than Bardsley's (especially if he's not 100%) - and neither of Burnley's front two are big lads, so Muni should be fine

Do we know if Pieters is fit or not yet?
If he isn't, I reckon that Bardsley will play left back, Geoff on the right and Muniesa alongside Ryan.
If he is fit (and Bardsley is), I think Geoff will be the one missing out. I reckon Hughes will let Muniesa have a decent crack at CB now. Muniesa himself said that he was told that the long term plan for him was in the centre when he signed (if I recall).

“The big worry ahead of the game is Marc Wilson – we will need to check on him because he is the one major doubt for us at this moment in time.
“We are giving him a bit of extra time, but the feeling is that he may miss out but we have others who can come in and make an impact.”

If he drops Geoff he wants a kicking
If he drops Geoff and pisses him off, then Bardo/Pieters gets injured after 15 minutes again and misses more games he wants a kicking
Surely the back 4 that finished the game v Spuds needs to start, they were excellent
The other 3 need to prove some fitness first? Couple of reserve games?
If any of them play under a doubt it would be Pieters, as at least Muniesa is a capable left back too - but we are a bit short arent we in the defensive department!
Got to be
GCam Shawx Muniesa Pieters
Bardo on the bench Wilson cant be anywhere near fit Huthy out for God knows how long Tex has a broken foot?
Could nZonzi play centre back? Could we go 3-5-2
I suppose his thinking is that he could start Bardo and at least have Geoff as cover - the other way round leaves him open if Geoff comes off and Bardo gets injured.
Send Super Jon there, he would do a job - or Crouchy at Centre Back - he wins as many headers as most!

Both Cameron and Muni should start. Funny that our best two performances of the season have come with Cameron at right back.

We were outstanding against Man City, and I'll be amazed if we play better all season, when you take into consideration the circumstances. Oh, and Bardsley was fucking phenomenal too. West Ham was our 3rd best performance of the season IMO, and Geoff played really well.

Don't think we will risk going with two marginally fit players, Pieters and Bardsley, would expect only one of them to play.

Form for me. After spuds I wouldn't change much especially with so many players still in question of fitness.
Want goals to start from the back? go with Cameron, Shawcross, Muniesa, Pieters.
Simple really.
