Good result England with a decent performance for a change. Not really up against good opposition but better. Be interesting to see what happens with Smalling. Shawcross apparently dropped for poor performance against Zlatan so let's see what happens to Smalling for failing to deal with Hull's left back. It wasn't actually Smallings fault it was down to the tired little lamb (lazy little twat) Sterling not following Robertson leaving Clyne with 2 to mark. But Smalling was wank anyway and is there anyone slower than Jagielka playing at centre half in England at the moment? That comedy gold moment at the end where the ref felt sorry for him because the homeless crack head beat him all ends up was hilarious.

Great demolition job - nice to stuff it right down their throats after all that hot air and hubris I've been hearing on Talk Sport all day - Durham will have a field day!!!

Conner knock that, I'm a massive critic when it comes to England but they did a job there. 2 points, Clyne has surely and deservedly nailed that right back spot, its been a long time coming. And Hodgson is still an owl faced twat, why bring young Berahino into the squad and not use him, Ricky Effing Lambert! (Oh and Smalling is still wank!)

Sterling is a weak lil' twat who gave no effort tonight on Robertson as well. But agree with you.

and is there anyone slower than Jagielka playing at centre half in England at the moment? Jagielka is the fastest player in the Prem according to the folks who do all the statistical analysis... Don't particularly rate him either though and Shawcross is as deserving as anyone of having a go as Cahill's partner.

Played well for a change. Staggering that Woy didn't put Berahino on though. Why call him up?? Pointless.

That comedy gold moment at the end where the ref felt sorry for him because the homeless crack head beat him all ends up was hilarious. Watch it again. Sterling doesn't do his job, for sure, but then Smalling doesn't make much of an effort to get across to cover then turns his back on the shot like a four year old.

Clyne is a top player the rb spot is his. He is but i don't think Kyle Walker should be written off yet Walker is no better than Johnson, decent going forward but hopeless defending. Looks like Clyne can do both and for me has made the right back slot his own.

As Souness said, "Champions League v Championship" and the gulf between the two nations was clear. At least Strachan was man enough to admit England played at a pace and intensity he hadn't bargained for - so respect to the much maligned Woy also. Downing looked injured and terrified to get stuck in and on a WHU level happy he was hauled off at HT. Probably his last cap and given the play of some of the pacier younger alternatives hope this new generation goes on to give England a bit of respect again now the Rio's, Gerrards and Lampards are gone. Can't under stand the hate for Wilshire on here - he'd be a starter every week for most PL teams - even if he is a diving poof who plays for Arsenal. Like wise Lallana. Cline also looked tidy. In fact other than the overhyped Thai lady boy who failed to make a proper challenge on Robertson (the Jocks best player) for his goal, I was pretty proud of our performance tonight, as well as with the 5000 English who out-sung 55000 Jocks. "You're British till you die"

Wilshere has the ability to become a great midfield player. I think most can see hes very talented. Still only 22 im sure as he gets older he will mature.
Clyne looks a real gem. I think you give this team some more timetogether and I think it could surprise a few.
As for Rooney I really like him as captain. Clearly respected and takes the role very seriously. I think we will miss him when he retires. Not world class but still a verygood player.

Finally a performance to be happy about from England, albeit the oppo was Scotland but they played well. Brilliant stuff. Im not Rooney's biggest fan but he put in a real skippers performance last night.
Clyne simply has to be the first choice RB now. If Johnson sneaks back in then Hodgson will need to be sectioned.
Regardless of the result though I can never get fully behind Hodgson. He brings on Sterling and Lambert, yet leaves Berahino on the bench. I just don't get his thinking.
