lol I just think he's a decent player, thats it some on here think glenn whelan is good ffs Glenn Whelan does exactly what it says on the tin, every team needs a player like him and at £500k and 200 with Premier League apprearances he's one of the best buys we've ever made. No hype, just a solid professional who you'd want in the trenches with you. Jack Wilshere is a fanny who falls over a lot. Might be a gifted player, but he hasn't anywhere near lived up to the hype yet. It's all relative, and I know which player can look in the mirror after every season..... I'm really looking forwards to this one. Some big weaknesses could be shown up tonight.
As an Englishman I couldn't ever hope to see Scotland win, but if they do win, I hope that they do it in style and make it obvious where the weaknesses are in the England team.
Maybe the England team will step up to the plate, and show us all what they really can do.
Should be a good game.

Nice to give Forster the nod in a meaningless Friendly in front of the nasty vindictive set of fans whos club he left in the summer. Smart move Roy, way to put pressure on a kid! Nothing to say on Smalling that hasnt already been said. Downing deserves a go, but lets see if he shines in this system, doubt it. Glad to see the Ox getting a start, the one true exciting player in our starting XI. Rate him as much as Sterling myself.
