Pretty frightening. Tottenham away, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton away..then straight after Christmas we play United and Arsenal again. We really need the 3 points tomorrow.

Yep, we have to play every team twice.

I remember dreading last season when we had United & Chelsea in quick succession and then we went and beat them.
With how we do things it wouldn't surprise me if we fucking won all of those fixtures, such is the unorthodox way we go about our business.

We are more than capable of winning, losing or drawing any of those fixtures. In fact, as I said at the start of the season, we may even be more capable of beating those teams you mention above, particualrly at home, than we are of beating those teams that you would ordinarily expect as to beat. To be honest, tomorrow, I would take any result, including 0-0, if it means we can guarantee to stop the opposition from scoring. We have to get back to being difficult to score against and a clean sheet is as important as anything else tomorrow.

Who knows but it's a scary run of games against big teams and big teams that are due to start winning! Think above all Hughes needs to find his best Xi. Going into November without a fucking clue who our best front 3 are is a massive concern.

The teams that have given us the most problems so far have been teams that have sat back with 10 men behind the ball and said break us down, now apart from west ham none of the next few teams will do that so we should get some results.
Under the last manager we would not have tried to win any of those games but Sparky doesn't seem to have the same fear

Going into November without a fucking clue who our best front 3 are is a massive concern. If all his front players were on top of their form and fully fit, I'm fairly sure Hughes would know who his preferred options were. The fact that injuries are preventing us fielding the same frontline combinations for 90 minutes or on a week by week basis is the only thing hampering him in that regard. You think he hasn't got a clue. I disagree and think he has. If they are all fit and firing, his preferred midfield/forward line would no doubt be; N'zonzi, Whelan Ireland Arnie, Diouf, Moses He said as much at the start of the season but Bojan's form prompted an unexpected early season inclusion, then we won at Man City where we changed from the usual formation and approach with Crouch being excellent. Form and fitness (even a combination of both) has dictated that we've barely had the chance to go with this approach so far. My bigger concerns lie at the back rather than the front though. Sort the base out and the rest will come good and look after itself.

You never know. I'm as confident of beating Chelsea away as I am of beating Burnley at home. We're capable of anything.

We'll be fine If by "we'll be fine" you mean we won't get relegated, then I think you're right. But if you mean we'll finish in the top ten again, then I'm not so sure.
