Heard today during the televised game here in Sweden: Sunderland - Arsenal, that new England wonder boy i.e. Calum Chambers played 22 games for Southampton and never received a yellow card. After 7 matches with the Arse he had redan picked up 5............any comments?

He was a sub mostly at Southampton and played right back.
At centre back and starting regularly he had been a little exposed and out of his depth. He really isn't good enough to play where he is for who he is.

Chambers is the "New England Wonderboy" only because Hodgson says so. Just like the arsehole fledglings Wontshere, Wallsnott, Oxtail Chamberpot alongside Sterling and Sturridge and most of the current England squad....none are anywhere near good enough to play at international level. But it's all we have because of the FA lack of investment and number of foreign players at the highest level in PL. We will easily qualify in the Euros because of the weakness of our group. But humiliation once again awaits us in 2016.

I think a lot of young players at the heart of the Arsenal defence would pick up yellow cards like confetti these days. It doesn't help that Chambers is still learning his trade and is being treated as if he was a mature fully competent player.

Still learning his trade at a very young age. I think people are very unfair to him. Not his fault he's picked for the England squad, and he'd be mad to turn down that kind of experience.
