Can any of you help the council to rename a few more areas.
" The Historic village of malingering of BENTILEE"
" Lawless Village of Chell"
" The Historic village of Teenage mums of Abbey Houlton

1) i come from the abbey and its not as bad as it was. teenage mums?? only the same as other areas of this and other cities up and down the country
2) its spelt abbey hulton, not houlton

Historic town where everyone is related of Cheadle your politeness is astounding m'lud True story, one of my best friends hails from South Africa, but lived for a while in Switzerland and Australia so her accent is very weird. She struggles sometimes to understand us Stokies, and last year got a job in a cafe in Stafford. One particular customer wasnt speaking clear enough for her to understand and she had to ask him several times to repeat himself. In the end the very annoyed man shouted at her "For gods sake girl are you from Cheadle?"... Cue a phone call to me later asking me what he meant  |
