It's a load of bollocks!!!! If there was no contact fair enough, but the arm was out for all to see....I think the sky sports pundit Jamie the prick, should go back to the Liverpool game last January. when Sturrigde diveded like the cheating little bastards they are !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck off ........ You're kidding right, he threw himself to floor, it was a shocking dive, or do you all ways fall to the floor when someone touches you slightly. It wasn't a slight touch though. Look at the picture on BBC website....it clearly shows Rangel, has hold of Moses shirt and holding him back. Now the ref was partially unsighted and MOTD cameras appeared to show Rangels arm brushing Moses when actually Rangel was grabbing his shirt. Yes Moses made a meal of it but the outcome was a penalty and fully justified IMO.

The Swansea penalty was a joke. Bony has hold of Shawcross as much as Shawcross has hold of Bony, except Bony falls to the ground deliberately. It won't get called a dive because of the contact but it was still cheating nonetheless.
Moses seemingly went down easily, but he was fouled. Moses didn't foul their player. He had his shirt tugged. If he hadn't gone down there'd have been no penalty after an attacking player had been fouled by a defender.
Only one of the given penalty decisions was wrong yesterday. It's just not the one that the majority of the media say it was. A joke of a performance from the referee followed by a joke of a performance by the media. A weekly recurrence.

Maybe Mark Hughes should have said it was a "Spanish penalty" and then we get on with the media love in. Isn't that how it works ?
Both were penalties in the letter of the law BUT we all know it's about interpretation of that law. My guess is that he (the ref) knew he had given a soft penalty and looked to even it out. However seeing as though Swansea couldn't manage to score in open play despite having chances and we actually did the score line shows we won.
3 points bagged, home win. Time to move on, although I can't see the media letting it lie just yet.

The darling media don't let anything invented at the Brit lie do they.....Rories long throw being anti-football in our first couple of PL seasons, rugby tactics because Wenger said so, holding and bear hugs at corners invented yesterday and of course diving that was first demonstrated by Victor Moses on Sunday 19th October 2014. Stoke have thrived on siege mentality since promotion and yesterday's rantings by media, monk and Match of the day falls nicely on our Laps thank you very much.

Whosw bright idea was it to book this guy as a pundit for this one, given how fans yearn for 'balanced' coverage? linkYou're a Swansea boy aren't you?
Swansea is in my heart. I'm a Swansea fan and I was born and bred in Swansea. I played for some of the biggest clubs in Britain with Celtic and Arsenal. But Swansea is always the club I have looked out for. I'm back living in Swansea with my family and they've all got season tickets. I've personally got two season tickets for me and my son who is currently playing for the Swansea academy. So it's my club.Hartson arrives at the Match of the Day studios.

The BBC are strange, their own site has a picture of Rangel clearly pulling Moses shirt but they carry on with this nonsense that he wasn't fouled.

Anyone else notice Williams trying to trip Shawcross up for their penalty? that's a foul and therefore shouldn't be a penalty

John meets Moses. The boy went down far too easily in my view. Minimal contact.

I know they have to deal with the decisions, but it'd be nice if they could actually find some time to talk about the match too. I guess they used a lot of their time showing post match interviews.

If Ryan had chosen to go down (as Bony chose to go down) and Swansea had scored - they'd have been saying "he needs to be stronger than that".

There wasn't a push but a pull on the shirt in an attempt to knock him out of his stride and in the hope that the referee doesn't see it, well he did see it and as clear a penalty that you'll ever see. A pull would have pulled him back, not take his legs away from him, it was dive. But releasing the shirt from the pulls would catapult him forward, hence he went down forwards.Penalty!

Every cloud, Morse - every cloud (as Friday might say).
All pro footballers cheat. If Mr Monk drops players for diving/cheating - as he said unequivocally that he would - then he will very soon be forced to pick Mr Hartson in his starting XI.
I'd pay good money to see that.

How come no one is saying Lampard should be fined for "going down too easily" yesterday? Fucking stinks the hypocrisy of it all..... Beat me to it; Lampard did a swallow dive and it was barely mentioned! I also expect 10 penalties a match now Shawcross has set a precedent.

There's an offence committed, so it's a penalty. It's a shame that players have to go down so easily, but at the same time, if Moses doesn't go down, then we go in at half time a goal down, and facing a difficult job to pull it back.
No one wants to see players diving or not staying on their feet when they could, but we've spent years watching other teams with players who could use their pace to do what Moses did yesterday. Ban every diver and every cheat, fair enough, but until this happens, then we've got to take advantage like every other team does.
We got a useful win yesterday against a team who's players were going down like a sack of spuds at every opportunity. We also had a cast-iron penalty for the tug on Crouch's shirt turned down, so the result was perfectly fair whatever you think of the Moses incident.

At the match I thought it was a dive. I sit in block 31 so was quite close. But one of those camera angles showed Angel push Moses. That coupled with the pic on here somewhere of him with a handful of Moses' shirt I've changed my mind. Yes, Moses goes down very easily (like Bony did for their pen) BUT IT IS A STONEWALL PENALTY!! There wasn't a push, it wasn't a peno. There was and it was.

I am, it was a great header from SJW and we outfought them in the second half. They deserved nothing from the game. It was a great header, sod knows what their keeper was doing though I quite liked his dive after the ball was in the net! He needs to work on his timing.

If you don't kick heads you're not allowed on the MotD sofa. That's a misleading picture though. As are all the others which clearly showed Shearer kicking Lennon in the face. The truthful picture showing exactly what happened was the one the FA referred to which showed unequivically that he didn't kick Lennon in the face. You know, the one the FA said was taken from a completely different angle. The one they used to exonerate him after Shearer had threatened to boycott the next international tournament. The one that nobody else has ever seen.

It would not surprise me in the least If the wankers at the top try and do something about it now. Like somebody said above, it's like stokr have suddenly invented diving. When in fact we've probably been one of the most honest teams in recent years. As for all these experts (non unbiased and most southern luvvies) Absolute bunch of hypocritical wankers!!! I was thinking, what else have we invented according to match of the day? We've invented the long throw, jostling in the box, diving, bad tackles, physical presence, 11 men behind the ball, wonder what else?
