Diouf is out for the Sunderland game (as expected) and also the 2 games in the International break. The good news is that it doesn't sound as if he will miss too many games beyond those three. Story on Official site

Thats good then if that's the case as it means he'll be staying the UK and not jetting off to god knows where to play for Senegal.

Shame as for me he is one of the first on the team sheet.
It's great that we have good cover though, our squad for the first time in God knows how long has plenty of strength and depth.
Can't wait for Saturday.

Best news we could have hoped for really, I was fearing the worst when he pulled up. Hopefully he'll be back for the Swansea game.

Good that after the Sunderland game there are 15 days until the next game. This should give Mame some time to recover.

Important not to rush him back if he isn't 100% ready. Hamstrings are evil.

Good time for an international break then, when you are considering him.
Not missing any more league games, won't be jetting off to wherever Senegal are playing and gets a good few of weeks break.

If possible I would leave him out until the Saints game away in the league or home v West Ham. We need to get him right and not rush him back.
We have good options to come in.

Pity this. He was looking good, and coming on fine. Don't rush him back. Get him back properly fit, as someone else has already said.

Good news for the Diouf is dogshit brigade though. Or perhaps not - they were probably hoping it was career ending.
