There's a pattern developing this season. This team is relying more and more on Shawcross, Whelan, Moses and Crouch. They are the 'base' we have to build on.

Fantastic yet again, shielded the back 4 excellently. Undoubtedly the most underrated member of our present squad imo. Sparky has really utilised him well, hasn't he?

Round of applause from me.
To be honest though he deserves to be a bit pissed at his fellow midfielders. He was the only one blocking, harrying, tackling and chasing down back-passes to the keeper.
If I were him I would be having a few words with Nzonzi, Adam & Ireland about how to stick a boot in occassionally

When you need to dig in, it's hard to knock Glenn's effort and positional discipline.
Tonight we needed it...

He's like Batman but he's Irish, and a footballer, not a vigilante.

What the hell was going through his head when he lost the ball towards the end though?

Big shift but a wayward ball at the end, shooting still frustrates the hell out of me though

Thought he played well and wasn't stagnant like he was in the last few matches. He's a real terrier after a rabbit on his day. Good on him. Thought Crouch and Muniesa played well also.
