Did anyone see the porto manager going off the pitch with both arms aloft giving the United fans the finger if TP ever left stoke i would want him as his replacment legend. ;D

Especially funny as before Porto scored he looked a bit of a dick with his pre-match Ferguson baiting!!
Still, a wonderful moment and good to see that Fergusons transfer moves have been so effective. Sold Beckham for football reasons...yeah right! He's bought in players who are solid but not the kind who will tilt the balance in their favour during a European campaign. Bellion and Djemba Djemba are average. Christiano Ronaldo has much a lot to do to become a world class game tilter. Overall their defence didn't play badly at all at home to Porto but at the same time the Man yoo of last year, or the year before would have had them for breakfast and put three or four past them.

Ohh something we have in common !! I too am thrilled that Porto got through, Man U have had things their own way for far too long, it's about time they got brought down a peg or two (or 3 hopefully). I love Portugal and wanted them to win anyway even if it hadn't been ManU they were playing. I can just imagine ManU beginning to celebrate as the fulltime whistle approached, then that goal from Porto would have really titsed them off

Yep Porto were no great shakes Joe but the better team over the 2 legs. Despite Fergie saying they never created, Utd didn't have a shot second half.
Like the manager's attitude. Fergie refused to shake hands after the first leg which ragged him up. To walk off the pitch, ignore Fergie and give it loads must have a sweet moment for him.

Well for once I felt sorry for Fergie and Man U They lost to a poor, cheating, diving team led by the Champions League version of Laurie Sanchez ManU were denied a good goal by a very poor official But, dare I say it, they were finally undone by defending too deep (TP ) and a stupid push by the pratt Neville That said ManU were never going to go much further in the competition - not good enough

have to disagree with wise master. united sat on it. they had to go for a second goal but didn't. the free kick looked obvious - porto were going to score. and that late...........all over. haven't seen united for vulnerable for years. i don't delight in them going out but i don't feel that sorry for them either
oh what am i saying HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA (they'll be crying on the streets of Tiverton)
