Struggling at minute the sort of club to pay him the money he would command.

TP will be able to name his price if he waits until the end of the year I imagine that there will be an auction for his services.
However, I would think he might want to take on a better project, I have a feeling that Leeds could be his destination. I don't know why, I just feel it in my waters.

TP to Leeds makes more sense to me.
They are tailor made for him, big club, massive fan base, some ok players playing well below par. If he could do for them what he did for Stoke he would be imortalised as one of the greatest managers of recent times

Tony Pulis would be ideal for a failing club like Manchester United as he could virtually guarantee that they wouldn't be relegated.

Good shout have they got £100 million going spare ? could he work with a control freak who owns the club ? might be fun to watch if so , mind you they have a shit reputation for being a dirty team so maybe

If he could do for them what he did for Stoke he would be imortalised as one of the greatest managers of recent times Leeds don't have a manager's position. Massimo Cellino (who, incidentally sacked 36 coaches in 20 years at Cagliari) appoints a head coach and deals with most player transfers himself. Tony couldn't handle the situation at Crystal Palace when he had at least some input in transfers. What on earth makes you think that he'd tolerate the situation at Elland Road? Unless of course you don't have a clue what's going on at Leeds.

TP would be a great manager for Leeds, he would get them up and keep them up, however, I agree with Dave, TP would quite rightly not want to work for the owner and I'm not convinced the owner would want an established prem manager with an excellent record who he would find it difficult to push around. Surely the only reason he appointed the bloke he has just sacked.

People talk about Tony Pulis and his desire to have control of transfers, by that I think they must mean he demands to make the decision on which players are signed.
Can anyone give the names of top PL managers who have players imposed on them and therefore don't have control of transfers.
If posters mean sometimes the Chairman refuses to agree a deal with a player recommend by the manager, that is a totally different situation.
Does Mark Hughes have control of transfers at Stoke for instance?

TP to Leeds? Can't see it, he'd expect to be paid more than 10 times what Hockaday was on for a start.

A guy in our office was actually trying get a bet on Redknapp being next Premier League casualty and TP to be next QPR manager yesterday. It was a 'friend of a friend' rumour he'd had that QPR are not happy with Redknapp and see Pulis as the man to keep them up/consolidate them in the league.
Only quote he could get on the double was 19/1 with VC but probably only be available at small stakes. The two bets separately yesterday were both best priced 4/1.

Abramovic clearly decided to buy Shevchenko & then Torres not the managesr at the time. heck even Stoke have done it - Peters was signed (it seems) not by Hughes. It happens to various degrees at lots of clubs on seemingly an increasing frequency. However the idea of TP working for a compelete nutcase like the chap at Leeds is clearly a non-starter.

The geographical location of Leeds wouldn't suit him. Very tough job for the incoming Leeds manger

I don't think QPR or Leeds would really suit TP at all.
Too much money and expectation at QPR, and Leeds are owned by Mussolini.
Also, Tony wouldn't stand for Cellino's obsession for forcing Italian players into his squad.

Love the use of Sky sources say floppy chops will be handed an extension. Fernandes was on Sky the other day and said exactly that. So is the owner of the club a sky source.
