Got in on time no problem. If you didn't get in on time ,I would say it's your own fault.

Yep got in on time. Left Derry at 8.00 and made Stoke by 5.45. There was queue at the turnstile when I went in, of people like me, who were desperate for a piss. I cannot believe how insensitive the club is to the feelings of its true fans by not opening the turnstiles earlier so people can go for a wee. Really heads should roll for this starting with those two guys who do nothing but eat pizza. The quickest exit from the south car park ever. Maybe scfc should ensure that there are more games where fuck all people turn up, that way we could get away quicker more often. See, all it takes is a little forethought stoke city just made it home to Sussex. three countries in one day, Ireland,Scotland and England + one kingdom! Stoke on Trent. Should have been a hatful tonight and a shit draw in the next round, but I will go to my bed contented

Credit where it's due, it was a lot slicker last night. More cash turnstiles, more people directing fans to the right place so a success all round.
It has to be remembered that there was only just over 10,000 though so let's hope all future low profile games are handled the same...

I asked one person which turnstile I could use my card to get in, as I saw a few different signs up and got pointed straight to one that was fine.
Unreserved seating is the problem though, the family couldn't decide where they wanted to sit so we missed kick off as we went back in to go to another block. When will the club realise, the freedom to choose your own seat is just too much responsibility.

Unreserved seating isn't too bad if/when a stand is half empty - but if stands are two thirds full (as is the case when half the groud is closed) unreserved seating doesn't seem a very good idea especially for family groups. I don't really see why the club do it - it can't be any cheaper than having the computer allocating a seat number.

From the pictures I saw on the BBC, the stands were so empty that I thought they must have locked some of the turnstiles.

From the pictures I saw on the BBC, the stands were so empty that I thought they must have locked some of the turnstiles. East stand and south stand were closed to home supporters, they bought about 600 (good effort I thought) Boothen was 2/3 full qrailing was the stand of choice and about 3/4 possibly more full - but behind the cameras!

Bought my ticket online. Loaded onto card. Got in, with enough time to have two pints. Now that wasn't hard was it ?

Yes, I see that. But you could have a block or blocks reserved for pay on the night fans with the other blocks having reserved seating. It just seems needless hassle for a family or group to have to find seats together in a stand which is fairly full. I remember going to an away game (before we reached the Prem) where there was unreserved seating and spending the first few minutes of the game trying to find seats for our group - and, of course, you had to repeat the process for the second half if you had left your seat at half time.

I turned up at 5pm and the gates were shut I was standing there fucking fuming until 7pm banging on the gates until someone opened them, my knuckles were almost bleeding and my throat was sore with shouting, I did get in on time without missing the kick off though and was able to sit in my normal seat. You can bet I will be e-mailing the club today though to express my utter disgust!! Gouranga.

Wife's family from the "London" section. As a "native" and being a lovely person, she never wants to offend anyone, when asked what part of Ireland she comes from, she always replies Londonderry, Derry.. last year during the city of culture year, many, not wishing to offend, simply referred toit as LegenDerry. I referred to it not as. Derry for any reason other than a combination of tiredness and laziness, in the same way you will be known as Bexill
