Absolutely loving the rivalry between Rosberg & Hammilton, especially as Hamilton is being well and truly thumped and shown to be the spoilt little mard arse that he is. Just what F1 needs right now. Akin to Senna/Prost in the 80's/90's. Rosberg is just so cool under pressure, unlike his team mate who has a face like a slapped arse.

Disagree. How can you describe Rosberg as cool under pressure when he clipped the back of Hamilton trying to regain the lead. That was impetuous, irresponsible and impatient driving so early in the race and was not "cool under pressure". And the arrogance of him to say the incident cost him first place as if somehow Hamilton was to blame. No Rosberg your pathetic childish impetuosity cost Hamilton first place and the chance of closing the gap on you.
Do agree that the rivalry between the two makes for an exciting second half of the season. There will be many twists and turns to come. Excuse the pun.

Shanghai is allowing his dislike of Hamilton to cloud his judgement on the "incident". If Hamilton had done what Rosberg did (he's admitted he did it on purpose) Shanghai would have gone ballistic and demanded that Hamilton be disqualified.

What I meant was Rosburg seems not to let the situations get on top of him, unlike Hamilton, who seems to spend his entire life whining and moaning, when he first came on the scene I was a huge fan, but the whining and moaning is just a massive turn off... On the track I'sd actually say Hamilton is the better driver, look at recent performances when he has come from the back of the grid, or the pit lane, to mount a real challenge, however, off the track he is a complete and utter knob.

Yes, but if Rosberg really did DELIBERATELY (as he says he did) clip Hamilton and cause the puncture then you can hardly call him cool under pressure. If Hamilton had spun as a result and taken another car out I bet Rosberg would not have been so quick to own up! I didn't like it when Schumacher deliberately drove into Damon Hill when he passed him after Schumacher's race was over and I lost a lot of respect for him as a result. So why should I praise Rosberg for a similar bit of cheating. If a driver wants to deliberately drive into a fellow competitior they should switch to Stock Car Racing where it is within the rules and even encouraged - although admittedly less well paid.

Hamilton is not being thumped. Hamilton has been VERY unlucky this season. He would be comfortably winning the championship if it wasn't for the number of mechanical failures.

Exactly right .....I think that Rosberg's illustrious Dad , Keke needs to have a word in his lads ear ......tell him how he should be conducting himself on the track , pretty poor stuff from what I can see .

Whilst Rosberg admitted causing the incident, I do think that Hamilton time and again is too quick to block other cars off from over-taking.
He relies far too much on the other driver slamming the brakes because of a lack of room. Hamilton has been clipped a few times due to his over-aggresive defensive tactics.

I think Hamilton is clearly the better driver but hes had a chip on his shoulder for a few seasons now and its getting to him.
Rosberg should be punished. Schumacher was when he did it, as was Senna if I remember rightly.

Rosberg is also one of the most liked drivers in the paddock which may be helping the off track battle.

"To prove a point" because he's still crying about Lewis not letting him past even though he was 2 seconds behind him in the last race. Should have the book thrown at him, deliberately causing a crash in F1 puts lives in danger.

He is basically saying to Rosberg "brake because Im not letting you through". Rosberg was never getting past anyways, so Hamilton was a little bit naive to cut across so fast and rely on Rosberg using his brakes.

It was Nico who went around the outside and cut across into Hamilton's left rear, and admitted he did it on purpose. It doesn't get any clearer than that

It is within current F1 rules to make one movement to block an opponent. Any more constitutes impeding and is not allowed. Also if a driver moves off the racing line to block an opponent he cannot regain the racing line until the challenge is over or the other car has overtaken. Didn't see Lewis break any rule yesterday.

neoisd1 you are wrong, as there was No accident. There was a touch and this happens on more than once per race, Hamilton is well known for "closing the door" on his fellow competitors and this will sometimes happen , he needs to man up and accept that it can happen.Nico may have tried to put Lewis on notice that he was there , but Lewis Never gives racing room to anyone. Lewis is a good driver but not always a sportsman.

Lewis is a good driver but not always a sportsman. See my previous post KS. He drives within the rules. On Sunday he wasn't even making a blocking move as he was on the racing line with Rosberg behind him. It was clearly the Krauts fault and if he has admitted its deliberate to prove a point then F1 must strip him of the points, place him at the back of the grid next race and heavily fine him.

3 stages in racing a car and the first is Setup. Hamilton seems to have a gift for this part of the equation with other team mates profiting from it like Button, who since Hamilton's departure is looking poor. Rosbeg too is clearly benefitting from Hamilton's pace notes as rarely is he as fast until after he has studied them.
Part two of course is race craft and staying out of trouble , especially on the early laps is perhaps where Hamilton comes unstuck he always seems a little too cautious on lap one no doubt brought on by constant pit wall moaning about fuel and tyres which RUINS the sport. This leaves him wide open to get whacked, I'd rather see him blast lap one then settle down and protect the car a little leave all those cars that are off the race pace clearly behind where they can do no harm.
Part three and critical in this Mercedes team is Team Management WTF were they doing allowing Rosberg to attack on lap one what a poor effort from them, it clearly smacks of German driver in a German team mentality and I'm certain Hamilton would be in deep shit if it were the other way around.
So too cautious from Hamilton, too aggressive from Rosberg and piss poor team management a recipe for Hamilton to move on next year.
Jim Clarke was better than all of them anyway and that's when we last had a proper F1 season with drivers racing not being told how to drive and when they can overtake.

You are probably right that I don't know much, or have watched many races, last 5 KL GP's, 3 out of the last 4 Shanghai GP's, and just booked for Singapore, so yup...Just a novice.

Hamilton comes across as doing more moaning because he's British so the British media spend more time interviewing him than they do other drivers.Button also gets lots of media attention, again because he's ours. At least Hamilton says what he thinks and doesn't hide behind the corporate umbrella.
Hamilton had had a lot of bad luck this season,Rosberg running into him was just another example of that

So, is it a coincidence that Rosberg dropped out today after his wrong turning at Monza? Is it a coincidence that he and Hamilton are now pretty much level in the Drivers championship? Could it be that he has taken his medicine for the coming together, and the two are now free to race for the title? Sport? Don't make me laugh . . . It's a bloody circus, and people who pay their hard earned money to watch are the clowns
