Just old agendas resurfacing as they always will after a couple of bad games, can't wait until we get beat by Man City, I think there's a few already wistfully looking in the direction of Sandbanks

Don't come on here with common sense when everybody's wetting their pants.

Both games we've played teams who just sat back and packed the defence players like diouf haven't had a chance yet to get on the ball and run at their defence when bojan did he played in crouch best pass of the game

I agree. Stoke have been dreadful both pre-season and for 2 matches, but there is no need for panic.
We know that the players are capable, it is just a matter of sorting them out into an effective team, which takes months not a few hours or weeks.
All the media tripe about how poor all ManU players suddenly are is just that, tripe. Newcastle are another club with a dressing room full of talented players that are "screwed up" at the moment.
People need to express their disappointment and indeed anger, but they need to retain a sense of proportion and realize talented players don't suddenly lose all their ability.
Football is a team game which a group of very average talented players can by application and team work produce outstanding performances well above expectation.
Be patient!

the same forum that was positively overflowing with optimism before we rocked up to the brit, bloody hell calm down i'm old enough to remember Carlisle being top of the old div 1 after 2 games and we all know how that ended up Yes. But fact is football is the be all for just about everyone who go on football forums. We did admittedly go overboard with the optimism after a fantastic season and then the new signings, as it is we're waiting for everyone to gel, but it'll happen and all will be good again. At the other end of the scale you lot were positively suicidal at the thought of another year of lambert and Lerner, now after 4 points from 2 games it's all rosey. That's what it's like and that's why we're all hooked.

the same forum that was positively overflowing with optimism before we rocked up to the brit, bloody hell calm down i'm old enough to remember Carlisle being top of the old div 1 after 2 games and we all know how that ended up Eh up, Staffs. It's pretty standard message board stuff, I suppose. We were mostly dire against you lot (well done on your win by the way) and by the sounds of it (I'm in Turkey so I didn't see it) we weren't much better against Hull either. I'm certainly not worried though, most of the players who did so well last season will be featuring for the majority of this one and we have the same settled and proven management team. I'm not expecting much against Man City next week so if you pop back here there will no doubt be more of the same. It'll click though, we have too many good players for if not to.
