It's in the media now!! Stoke wanted it kept quiet our bid for him as been on the table for at least 4-5 weeks. This isn't going to happen is it, we will be gazumped by a bigger club or a club with more financial clout. It depends on who is looking for a forward. Chelsea - is he really going to get regular game time? If thats what he wants this is a no-go Citeh - See above LPool - maybe Arsenal - Again maybe but he doesn't seem like a Wenger player to me ManUre - see Citeh and Chelsea Everton - no money left Spurs - I think these are the threat if anyone is Southampton - you'd have to take a huge risk as a player to sign for these So of the 8 clubs that finished above us this season theres not a lot for him to go at if he wants a regular start. Below us maybe the barcodes, west ham and blunderland. Does the dildo brothers have the money to finance a deal of this size? Sunderland maybe, but would he really want to go there when he could link up here with a better forward line? Newcastle - who knows? I reckon we are probably most likely to be able to offer him what he wants. Edit - based on the assumption that what I have read is correct and his strong preference is the Premier League

So have we agreed a fee yet? Terms?

If the rumours of us agreeing a fee with Wet Sham for Crouch are true then there must be some truth in this - unless we were confident in being close to a deal I doubt very much we would have changed our stance on letting Crouch leave (unless wet sham have offered silly money)

Strangely this player wouldn't be "rock the city" until people saw his ability on the pitch, then other's would wonder why their own team hadn't signed him. He would be brilliant for us and in all honesty I think we would be brilliant for him.

No idea how we would fit Bojan and Diouf in the same team if we managed to pull this off. My midfield would definitely be Arnautovic - Ireland - Yarmolenko N'zonzi - Whelan

Did he play us in the Europa League?

Stoke fans' hearts are in their mouths (massive cliche, apologies) as Yarmolenko unleashes a venomous effort from 30 yards that bends towards goal, but a brilliant fingertip save by Begovic sets off an impromptu party in the stands. Brew the Bovril. Cue the Cava. Unleash the Liebfraumilch.

Did he play us in the Europa League? Yes, in both games. He put the cross in which led to Upson scoring the own goal.

Is this a hint that they could've been Yarmolenko's? No they weren't Yarmolenko agents. Does that suggest you know whose agents they were?

No they weren't Yarmolenko agents. Does that suggest you know whose agents they were? Agents at the match were not Yarmolenko's. Stoke had talks with Redmonds agents wednesday, whether they were from his agency I don't know for sure, they could of just been some corporates and not agents, but I would say they had something to do with Redmond

£4.5m rising to £7m for Assaidi aprox (going by above posts) £9m rising to £12m for Yarmalenko would stoke would want both? Yarmolenko starting x1 and then Assaidi as back up. Assaidi would not be back up for Yarmolenko. Assaidi plays on the left (and is right footed) Yarmolenko plays on the right (and is left footed.

Both deals were not depending on what happened to the other I know - nor would Redmond depend upon Yarmolenko. But neither Assaidi nor Redmond would be back up for Yarmolenko as both normally play on the other side of the pitch t Yarmolenko.
