OK, so we've always known it but the recent behaviour of Sullivan undermining Allardyce regarding Ravel Morrison and now David Gold favouriting a derogatory tweet about him just demonstrates how utterly classless that pair of pricks are. If they want rid of the guy then fair enough but at least do it in a professional manner. Relegation is too good for them!

Whatever your views on his football and West Ham fans are entitled to their view (as deluded as many of them are with their ‘West Ham way ‘ bollocks’ but on the one hand you have a tough as teak defender with 500 games under his belt, steeped in football, spanning two very distinct periods in the history of the game with a solid track record and on the other you have a couple of blokes who’ve made a living out of dildo’s, exotic French ticklers and telephone granny sex who are taking the high hand and benefitting from public money to enable them to sell Upton Park. A pair of cunts indeed, a pair of cunts getting away with fucking murder.

they are indeed a pair of cunts, they walked away from brum with their pockets bulging leaving brum in the mire. now they get the Olympic stadium for peanuts and we have to pay to upgrade it to a footy stadium. i read at the weekend that they were undermining sam over the Clinton Morrison situation. would love to see these cunts get relegated.

Still don't get this thread.
Is it about Ravel Morrison or is Big Sam under pressure from the owners too?

I guess if they can make him resign, they won't have to pay up his contract. If they sack him, they will have to pay him off. It looks like they are pushing him, hoping he will walk.

Isn't his contract there for another 5 years or something stupid? Perhaps but I fail to see how "favouriting" a derogatory tweet about their manager would give the owners any ammunition at all to dismiss the manager without compensation, quite the opposite in fact, it would potentially give Mr. Allardyce the opportunity to seek redress.

Oh I see they are hoping he may just walk. Won't happen, they must now that, no one who has kept their nose clean does it, not without the full pay out.

Allardyce is one of the highest paid managers in Europe, theres no way they can afford to sack him.

If they are trying to avoid paying him off then they're going about it in a strange way - they're giving Sam plenty of grounds to resign and then seek compensation for constructive dismissal, it seems to me.

It would seem that way to me too. Stuff like that is crying out for a constructive dismissal claim.

Isn't his contract there for another 5 years or something stupid? 1 year left until summer 2015...co-incidentally they move into the new stadium start of the season after that. basically they want him to keep West Ham up until the get the new stadium and the bucks start rolling in then "cheers Sam you can piss off now"

It would seem that way to me too. Stuff like that is crying out for a constructive dismissal claim. Yep, that's why my limited knowledge of the law was thinking. Resign, claim constructive dismissal and claim compensation & damages... or a job managing one of their dildo shops if he really wants take the piss. Although I'm sure there is an Oatcake employment law specialist who will point out the flaws in this plan.
