Arsenal now have Debuchy and this spotty faced teenager Chambers! Surely that makes poor Carl Jenkinson surplus to requirements, so what do we think? As much as I despise Arsenal and would never really want to do business with them I could see him being successful at a smaller club, he's never overly impressed me for Arsenal but he has had some good games and I could think of far worse players we could sign! wouldn't hurt us to have a younger right back considering Bardsley and Cameron are knocking on the door to 30!

I don't get this love in for all their players they are going to be receiving over 100 million for Chambers, schneiderlin, lovren, Lallana and Shaw. 2 of the above named players have less than 100 professional games to their names. I prefer him to our 4 right backs but it isn't going to happen.

Born and taised in London as an Arsenal supporter. I don't want a person like that anywhere near our club. Bad attitude.

We've got at least two decent right backs (one signed this summer). Why would we spend big money to bring in another - possibly better - right back? It would also take much needed wages away (as I'm sure he'd want to be one of the top earners at the club) that are better spent elsewhere (winger, midfielder, etc.).

I can't say I've seen much of Jenkinson. But £3m seems on the low side for a 22-year-old capped by England (albeit probably only because Woy was seduced by his playing-at-big club-ness)
Out of interest, what's the general feeling about him as a right-back in comparison to Bardsley?
Obviously we won't be in the hunt now after nailing our right-back colours to the Bardsley mast on a 3-year deal - but I wonder if we'd choose differently now?

£3m for Jenkinson is great business by Hull.
Easier said than done but we should of got rid of Wilkson & Shotton & gone in for Jenkinson.
