Go on Hughesy, you know it makes sense.
Stick Nello on the bench, dressed as either a chicken or a turtle, between Bojan and Huth.

Fantastic viewing. That's the best hour and half I've seen in a very long time. It had everything. I even found myself joining in at the end singing one Neil Baldwin. And what a man aswell was Lou.

'One Neil Baldwin, there's only one Neil Baldwin!!'
I'm so glad that I took my dearly departed Dad to Villa for the testimonial.
Thanks Nello.

This is to let those based in the south east to know that the first showing of "Marvellous", the film about the life of Neil Baldwin, will be at 6.15pm on 8th September, at BFI Southbank, London. Although this is intended primarily for TV and film critics, there will be seats available for sale to the public. I understand that these will go on sale on the BFI website on 12 August. I don't know how many of these seats there are, or what the demand will be, but if you want to go, it might be prudent to book early. The main red carpet Premier will be later that week in Stoke, but unfortunately because of the numbers of official guests there can be no public sale for that. The date for its broadcast on BBC 2 has not yet been announced by the BBC. My guess is October or November. I can't put into words how good and emotional that was for me. It was the best piece of TV I've seen in over 30'years. I may be biased , but Quite frankly I don't care. Even my dog wept with pride. This was your finest hour...

Brilliant feel good TV with a touch of sadness.Outstanding performance by Toby Jones. I thought all the main actors, and Gemma Jones, were superb but Toby Jones deserves a BAFTA for that performance. Special mention too for the REAL characters who made an appearance - often that doesn't work but I thought it did in Marvellous. Lou Macari was brilliant. And, of course, Nello can be proud that he contributed so much - I thought the little cameos between him and Toby Jones were great.

It was that good even Mrs Bamber watched it from start to finish - and she doesn't do football at all.
Must be due an award of some kind. Best factual program? Best actor?

Just watched it with my old man and we both agree a truly remarkable piece of television and Neil a truly remarkable man.
One thing that stands out is Lou Macari and what a nice, down to Earth guy he seems, as I am sure a lot of his parts were not far from the truth.
'I wanted to be happy, so I was' is a quote that will stick with me forever and something I will endeavour to follow. Thanks for that Nello!
