Wow. Every bit as good as promised. Nearly had something in my eye at one point but got think I got away with it! It was bloody difficult, particularly the scene where he is sat on his own and starts crying and at the end.

Bloody marvellous!!
When I was a kid I would see Nello in the dugout and thought that if I couldn't be a player id love to be kitman like him!!!
What an absolute legend, god bless you Nello lad.
Great TV too, so, so proud to be a Stokie! Wonderful stuff.

It's incredible, Twitter is going insane with plaudits gushing from every direction. Fully deserved mind. Henry Winter ?@henrywinter · 19 mins Lou Macari and #scfc both came out of #Marvellous brilliantly: a man and a club who care about people #OneNeilBaldwin I saw that myself and nearly fell off my chair.

Great programme.
Wife said "Now I know why you are so daft, are all Stoke fans like that?"
Macari gone up in my estimation as a person.
Thanks Nello, you're a great guy.

The bit where Lou was being interviewed on the pitch and Nello rocked up in the tartan had me and the misses in absolute stitches, brilliant, beautiful programme.
Always loved Lou, but jug ears has shot up in my estimation!

I knew it would be good, but never thought it would be that good. Unbelievable story, fantastically directed, and Nello was brilliantly played by Toby Jones. Simply marvellous.

Absolutely brilliant programme... My seven year old girl stayed up because she wanted to share such a special programme with her dad... I'm not afraid to say that I had tears on my eyes... So touching, so brilliantly produced.... I loved the programme, Toby played Nello so fantastically and you know what, I felt like that little boy who first fell in love with Stoke City again....
Thank you to all involved... Simply Thank you.... #OneNeilBaldwin

Must be a nice feeling for all those involved to be able to sit back tonight knowing they could not really have done anything better than they did. Its was quite captivating and innovative. The acting was superb and the script hit just the right note.

I tried to hold back the tears while watching the best bit of TV I have seen for years, but when I started to read the moving comments from fans on here it was just too much and I cried my eyes out with pride to be associated with such fans. A truly moving experience I will always cherish.

I could watch that again, i somehow think that it would be something that should be screened in schools throughout the country. You dont often get tv like this anymore, something that stirrs emotions on that level. So many quotes to take away from it. Outstanding.

Bugger. Missed the end by 5 minutes to try and watch it on the BBC iPlayer due to my taxi being 20 minutes late. :-( iPlayer won't let me watch it right now as it's finished. Grrrr.

I am emotional to start with - but tonight I cried and I cried and I bloody well cried and don't min admitting it - Nello was known to all of us, the wife works at Keele and knows him just as well, but how many knew the story in full. I certainly didn't.
The man is an example for all of us - absolute legend!!
Thank you to Lou for bringing him into the hearts of all us Stokies.
